In Vietnam, Mac wasn't that popular so I had never heard of him. About a year ago, "Good news" and "Self Care" popped up in my recommendation, I fell in love instantly. Then a few months came by, I found out that Mac was no longer alive. After that, every single line from "Swimming" and "Circles" are never felt the same.

Wow... I’m sorry you didn’t get to discover him sooner :/ Mac is such a great artist with a HUGE discography. He uses different names like “ Larry fishermen” ( his producer name) he has two instrumental project named “ run on sentences” under that name. “ delusional Thomas” is more of his dark side. “ Larry lovestien” is his jazz name he has a very good EP. I recommend listening to faces ( arguably his best project). Glad u enjoy Mac, most dope forever.

I remember the first time I heard self care, I was "sleeping" out of some utility/ sprinkler system closet in the town I live in. It was the middle of winter, I had just gotten out of rehab from heroin and had nowhere to go. All I knew was I couldn't give up. It was a really fucked up time in my life where it seemed all hope was lost but at the same time, the only direction I could go was forward from there. Self care, particularly the second part spoke to me deeply more than any other song ever. referring to Oblivion. That's how it felt. For all I know, Mac saved my life by creating such music. It kept me in focus. Much love to you Mac, we miss you

Mac is someone who was brought here to bring other people together, and we should all be happy about the message and inspiration he gave to us. You should celebrate his life, there is no need to feel anger/sadness for his passing. He is still with us. No one ever dies

I just wish he knew that other people who followed him from day 1... lose hope after his death. Its a constant reminder that the pain wont go away unless we choose to pull the cord. Been listening to these mix since it first dropped in February and I just cant get enough of it. Mac had a beautiful way of normalising our fallible features as human beings and helping us to understand, appreciate and overcome them as human beings. Thank you so much. It has led me to appreciate Malcom's music even more. Admittedly and regrettably, I paid very little attention to his work until he died. From South Africa, I wish I had seen him perform live. This year has been the most difficult year of my life, but his music has kept me alive, despite three failed suicide attempts. His music made it feel normal to be a human being because ultimately, we're human and fallible. I owe an eternal debt of gratitude to your mix for keeping me alive for my family and loved ones through a very dark period in my life. Long live Mac Miller.

I love finding remixes like this... My freshman year of college is when mac died, and me and all my friends were planning on going to see him live in concert. I never had the chance to see him before, and he's been my favorite artist since middle school. Like everyone else, I was beyond heart broken when he died. He was a great soul with the mind of an incredible artist. Ten years after being introduced to his music, and he's still my favorite artist of all time. RIP to Easy Mac.

mac truly helped me during my toughest times.

I think I have only commented on a video one other time. This is amazing. It flows beautifully with his whole vibe and calm soothing voice. Stumbled upon this yesterday during serious PTSD episodes and was so stuck on it I was able to calm down which was weird for me. But in the most positive way. The legacy he left behind and the impact of lofi on the soul is such a great combination. Thanks for this❤

I’m so glad someone else loves that song. It’s so bittersweet and reassuring, like a lot of his swimming/circles tracks but that ones always seemed special.

The body of work this man created is so important that it’s hard to convey. Before I listened to him I had more than a few struggles with myself and what I thought of myself that led me to the darkest I’ve ever been. I’m proud to say that since I listened to his work I’ve had so much more comfort in myself and others than I’ve ever found and I owe Mac more than anything for that. 92 til infinity and I hope wherever you are now you’ve found peace Mac. You’ve changed my life in a way I so desperately needed.

Used to love his early songs. Donald trump, and best day ever, I saw him get huge each year passed. It was like watching a friend accomplish his dream. I found out he was dating Ariana, he seemed his happiest, I felt great for him, I had a lot of respect for this artist. Im sure everybody feels the same for him. RIP Malcom, at least you skipped this shitty past year and possible next ones.
