It makes sense why he can focus on Justice League activities. Just cuz the war on crime is taken care of, Bruce will never rest.

James is playing to his strength. He has done wonders with dysfunctional families in the form of GOTG. Even The Suicide Squad had some pretty nice moments of all the characters bonding. Done right this could introduce the entire bat family and their chaotic relationships both in and out of the capes.

This is exactly the type of story I was expecting for Batfleck back in 2015

I assume you don’t know very much about Robin and only know him from previous live action projects that unnecessarily and insecurely makes him a 30yo grownass adult man, when that isn’t what Robin is supposed to be. No offense but I feel confident that you’re the type of person who thinks Superman having the iconic trunks, Wolverine having a yellow and blue costume and Giant-Man are too absurd to work in live action

Deathstroke is my favorite villain so seeing him getting some quality screen time is always needed 💯 him and Black Mask deserves so much better

For what it's worth, the Titans show proved the costume can work in a modern context. Those Robin costumes wenr hard and it actually makes me want ti cosplay as him.

If you ever want to pitch a sequel you can borrow my idea Batman is is kidnapped by the owls while the world thinks he’s dead. Nightwing becomes batman . He and Damian do detective work to find Bruce while he’s trying to escape. Feel free to give your feed back

I would have Clayface be the villain. So that during the evil monologue it can be used as an exposition dump on the history of Batman and the partners he lost. From Dick Grayson(who left to be Nightwing), Batgirl(who got paralyzed and forced to retire) to Jason Todd(who was killed). I can even imagine Clayface morphing into one of The Robins to try to trick Batman and Alfred. So the whole movie would have some dark elements but i would try to keep it as more action oriented as less gritty as possible. To make it different to The Matt Reeves Batman and save the grittiness for the sequel. So that the sequel would be Under The Red Hood. Replace The Joker with Deathstroke as the assassin that kills Jason. Have it be a badass gangster/war movie.

Damien is my favorite Robin because Dick is better as Noghwting, Jason is better as Red Hood, and i prefer Damien over Tim personally

After rewatching this video I think the best thing they could do for a post credit scene after this film is set up Jason Todd as the Red Hood as the sequel to Brave and the Bold should be Under the Red Hood I think the best way to do something different between DCU Batman and The Batman saga is make the DCU Batman projects more batfamily oriented

I like that idea. I wouldn’t want a 1:1 retelling on that story though. I think it’s been done to death in animation and other media. Do a Red Hood story, but not exactly like UTRH

not you forgetting cassandra in the batfamily...understandable though. She's only in a few comics and doesn't really become relevant until barbara becomes oracle and stephanie becomes spoiler.

I don't know how I feel about all (for the most part) the villains being gone in some way. I know it'd make the most sense with Batman's age but it also makes Gotham feel empty and restricts a bunch of potential story telling in the future.

Oh they aren’t gone, gone. A lot of them just happened to find ways to avoid batman. As the DCU progresses though, things will start to revert back to the Hell it was. This will show that gotham really never will be healed, only temporarily bandaged.

I think basing it off of the Arkham Asylum batsuit would be perfect navy blue and grey fabric suit

Imagine if you ask a guy who could've been Batman to now direct. It would hurt because you would think you were robbed of that title.

I would've made it so batman has been active for 10 years not 20 just do what the new 52 did

I really love a lot of what you do here, but not a lot happens in the way of plot. I think it would help to have another Robin present, Tim would make the most sense but Dick would also be a good fit. It would also help if the movie opened with Batman putting “the last” of his rogues in Arkham, sparking the whole debate of whether he can move on. I know he’s been overused, but Joker would be well used here to reestablish the Jason tragedy and how much Joker has tortured Batman over the years. Also, I think Deathstroke’s first assault on the League should come AFTER Dick is reunited with Bruce to spread the action out better. And then for added conflict, he should bring Rose with him to the Lazarus Pit in his final assault so Bruce can see how weak she is and be reminded of Jason (who should be teased in the credits for a potential sequel based on Under the Red Hood).

I realized Tim would fit really well with the theming if they carried over the concept of his dad still being alive. Bruce isn’t his father, just his partner. He could take a break at the start of the movie when it seems like the mission in Gotham is dying down so you don’t have to worry about him. The point is, Bruce hasn’t been a father since Jason, and now he has to try again with Damian

@@fakehappyfilms The Morrison Batman and Robin series which is Damian's 1st outing as Robin has Slade as one of the main foe's. Damian and Dick have long history with Slade. Respawn, Damian's half brother is Slade's son

Only thing I don’t like is the willingness to not use the batfamily I think having dick Tim and Jason if they bring him back and Barbra should be there and co existing together is important
