If I wanted to be a better musician in 2024 this is what I would practice

Музыка

In this KZread video I am really excited to share a new practice protocol I have been trying out for the last couple of weeks - I think it can be hugely beneficial for some music students who are looking to level up their playing.
The idea of the Productive Practice Protocol (as I like to call it) is to combine various musical disciplines simultaneously, leveraging your practice time.
Many people nowadays use Time management methods in their daily lives such as writing lists, time blocks and the Eisenhower Matrix to maximise their productivity.
The Productive Practice Protocol aims to be the musical equivalent of this.
In this video I demonstrate the Productive Practice Protocol on the chords of Herbie Hancock`s master piece Cantaloupe Island.

I would love to see a video of how you created the midi play-along practice tracks. I've always though this would be a great way to practice.

Like you I do not want to waste time. At 67 I’m trying to maximize my time and efforts. I’m a beginner moving into the intermediate level. I would like to use your systems. Where do I begin?😊
