I understand where you're coming from - my own parents are over me and my brain / chronic pain condition. I'm still recovering from brain surgery and I'll likely have to cut the nerves to my face at some point. The hardest part is mourning the life you wanted and thought you had. I'm here for you. I believe in you. And I'm really happy you were well enough to go home. 🖤 You're strong, you've got this. And you have the entire community here to support you. I realized, sometimes the part that's hardest is the mourning of what could have been. I'm an adult. I had to move and leave my whole life on the east coast, to the middle of the country where my parents are because I could no longer be by myself. No one talks about that grief or the shame you feel. I didn't have that support, so if you need it - I'm here to support you. Hang in there. You'll be okay. 🖤🖤 xo
