Malenia fighting with the player could be pretty awesome as some kind of split ending to the haligtree. This could result in Malenia giving a “true” hand of Malenia that deals scarlet rot because the one you get from the remembrance is kinda bad. Miquella could could also give some kind of Trina sleep weapon (bc he is trina) or a special flask upgrade to go with his connection to life. The end of the quest would definitely end in a new ending and the cut twinblade being awarded to the player. I think it’s called the twinblade of abundance and decay. The main villain might be the formless mother that mohg follows because she is an outer, like elden beast.

Always felt especially bad seeing morgott go into his second phase. His curse combined with his lineage brought him great emotional pain. Even utilizing the very same power from that lineage caused him pain from the sound of his screams when the second phase starts. Being a part of that family did nothing but bring him pain.

@@JustSomeChatter Sadly, he never actually did receive Grace. He was the Ruler of Leyndell, but only in secret. He was known as The Veiled Monarch. "Margit" was known as his executor, an Omen who served the king. Margit/Morgott's true identity was never known. Morgott spent his entire life fighting for the Erdtree. And in the end, he died for it, with neither the Golden Order nor the Greater Will acknowledging his efforts. He says as much if you speak to his withered form after his defeat at the throne. He could not become lord. like all others, the Erdtree spurned him, barring his entrance with the impassable thorns that would prevent any desiring to become lord from reaching their goal. In the end, he fought for something that never cared for him, or for his efforts. Morgott's story is a tragedy. He fought for and died for something that didn't care for him in the slightest.

This is breathtaking, I’m a new player and after 150+ beautiful hours I’ve finally got the plat trophy and I’ve never played a game that’s made me feel the same way it did, thank you Elden ring! And thank you for this amazing edit!

I went all out exploring the world and getting the trophies, having platted the others of the series, but the last one…the frenzy ending…I couldn’t bring myself to do it I’ve grown to love this world they made, so tragic, yet life persists in sheer defiance…there’s beauty in it… So I sealed the flame within me…and simply sit at the capitol’s steps, stopping all who would burn this beautiful world, in honor of the turtle pope :)

feedback time: Very nice edit; i personally love the theme you chose, which is the Malenia storyline. Really cool idea to make the player character (PC) look like one of the sisters. Now, what I thought would make the edit even cooler, is lining clips up chronologically. The song is beyond epic and because it starts calm, almost downtrodden, and then leads into a breakthrough, the visuals should reflect that. For instance, i loved that during the buildup of the final stretch of the song, you chose an ominous scene to bring everything to a close later by showing the stronger bosses. Then again, it might've worked better to show the PC crawling out of the mud first (like you did), overcoming the first hurdle (one of the first bosses), sticking with that momentum and finishing off with that insane double waterfowl shot, as that logically seems to be the ultimate goal for the sisters, or in this case the PC. Lastly, i like the synching up of visuals and audio (like the lion's roar synched with the song's 'roar'), but mixing audio's should be complimentary; a moment in which that was lacking a bit was the game-audio from Margott's fight. A more suitable bit of audio there might've been his monologue about the PC, although im not sure which lines would work best personally. Beyond all that, its still one of the better edits ive seen, serious props!

@@logarithm14 i assumed the player was supposed to one of milicent's sisters, as in the clip the PC breaks down onto her knees in front of the NPC Milicent. It's, in my pov, more satisfying to think that Milicent's sister takes up the goal of Milicent after she succumbs to rot
