Literal notebook style of freedom. Freedom is and sounds fantastic. But towards what cost? Is 100% freedom worth it when it comes to the lives of not only your "enemies" but the lives of your friends and family? Maybe Eren knew how this was all going to end at the beginning of season 3. He made himself the villain so that everyone could have true and pure freedom. Sure, Eren being the villain is sad and not what we as the readers/viewers wanted, but maybe this was all on purpose. If you really think about it, from a much broader viewpoint, Eren is still the hero in another light. He just wants his family to live in harmony and peace. But in order to do that, according to Eren, was to bring chaos and mayhem and attempt an apocalypse. If I'm correct then its kind of sad that he didn't see any other way. IF this is all true, then my heart breaks for Eren.

Anybody noticing the Ackermans’ importance throughout the series? I mean they protect humanity so fiercely until the bitter end! Levi almost lethally, injured: FIGHTING. Mikasa literally at a mental/ emotional and physical state that would at least SLOW DOWN any other character, charging head first into the fight
