My dad gave me his recording of Lemon Tree when I was around 7 years old, I still know all the words now!

🙏 Rest in peace 🕊️ This song of you Mr.Lopez was many times at the radio back in 1963 and my dad(r.i.p 2018) turned it harder and I was only 4 then,but I do remember this still..

I heard this on radio as preteen. I instantly fell in love wtune + lyrics. I was a severely depressed at that age... Kept it silent tho. But I hear this and it went deep to my heart.

Pelo seu talento, inovação, humilde, e nos trazendo grandes-clássicos da música mundial, em nova "roupagem". Principalmente da música das Américas (Sul), creio que depois de Nat King Cole, foi o maior nome surgido ,cantando em espanhol. Mas infelizmente, parece que nunca veio ao Brasil (e que como vem porcaria) e agora no seu falecimento, o rádio (quase não existe), jornal e tv, acho que ninguém falou.????? Grande cantor. Minha geração não esquecera, jamais. Saudades.

(cf aussi la Macarena!), gesticulent aux rythmes d' autrefois et savent encore par coeur ces "tubes" d' il y a.... Pt-être "populiste", André Rieu, mais au moins les gens s' éclatent ! (on comprends d' ailleurs qu' il ne vienne pour ainsi dire peu en France...)
