God warned me not marry my ex but I did it anyway and paid a high price of disobedience. That woman almost killed me, had it not been Almighty God coming to my rescue, I would be dead by now. Please folks, listen to the Holy Spirit guidance when it comes to relationships.

Back in 2013, I almost got married despite the toxic relationship, God's constant conviction and feeling no peace We broke it off, and she married someone else a year later. I stayed single in 2017 for a year after years of failed and dysfunctional relationships. So I listened to God and focused solely on Him. I married my best friend two weeks ago, she encourages me, on fire for Christ, and a mature, godly woman. The list is endless. 😊😉 Trust in God's plans, and let Him lead you. When I met my wife, I was content in being single serving God. But I trusted God's lead to give her a chance. I'm so glad I did. Let God mature you and help you grow. Focus on God first. And before you tell me "but I'm 30 or 40, etc". I'm 42 and she's 47. Don't tell her I told you. 🤫😉 God bless!

God was speaking to me through the Holy Spirit and told me not to marry someone. I was disobedient and married him anyway. Our marriage wasn't blessed, God was not in it. 20 year's later I divorced him. God was trying to protect me from narcissistic abuseabuse and infidelity. As a Christian I thought I was doing the right thing by staying married to this person that was manipulating me constantly and emotionally abusing me. I had to realize that God said NO 20 year's ago and he didn't change his mind! I also had to realize that this man had on many occasions tried to lead me into sexual sin outside of our marriage. I knew in my heart that God was leading me to divorce him. One final thought.... God cares more about your relationship with him than he does about your relationship with a toxic individual.

Sister Iva Wood, your life story almost match with mine! I am now born again Christian and absolutely love my Messiah living God Jesus Christ. But I wasn't Christian then when I was getting married to my narcissist husband 22 years ago. I was from a Hindu background family and I use to worship idols. On the wedding day, something inside me was telling me " to stop the wedding" but I didn't and got married to my husband anyway in a registered office in India. Little did I know that I will be the victim of domestic violence and abuse by my husband and in laws in England where I live now. (I was well protected and was loved by my parents and my brother in India always. )But my abusive and violent ex husband have never given me any form of respect forget un conditional love! I have officially separated almost 2 years with my husband. Basically my husband have walked away. We are heading for divorce very soon. After I got married with my husband and arrived in England my husband started to show his true colours gradually. I was never the perfect girl/woman for him and he always compared me with other English and Chinese women!! And constantly criticised me for every small things. (My husband is a very, very manipulative and abusive man.) He is 9 years elder than me. But he is always attracted to very young women/girls !! I have gone through domestic violence a lot by my husband and my in laws. I'm Indian and my husband is Cantonese Chinese (Christian) but behind close doors I have gone through domestic violence and abuse for decades by my husband and my in laws on and off/most of the time. My in laws are Church going Christians and they says that they love Jesus Christ, but behind close doors they have treated me like trash!!! My in laws have never accepted me in their family ever, and have always outcast me like a alien and blamed me for everything. If I took the courage to speak up they shut me up by saying I am shouting ,and in England people are not allow to shout!!! I have never cheated on my husband ever, but my husband have. I was also told by my husband that if I don't give him children then he will sleep around ourside with other girls to have children. Because I believe in marriage institution so I have worked very hard in my marriage to keep my husband happy. But it didn't work out. My life I have finished it myself! I have tried for decades to respect and love my husband immensely, but my Christian husband didn't respect me ever. And recently he told me that he has never accepted this marriage and he have never loved me and never will and we don't have any future together and he left . I have gone through domestic violence and abuse almost all the time. And got blamed for everything by my husband and my in laws. My in law told me that they HATE me because I am Indian and I am from slumbs! And I suppose to respect them because my Indian culture says so..!! They accused me that I did black magic on their brother to get married to him, so that I can come to UK and take his money and assets! My in laws even told me that I am a witch from India married to their brother by using black magic! But, my husband was the one who went to India 22 years ago to get married to me without his siblings presence. My fault is I wanted a man/husband who will love me un conditionally. But sadly I have failed.

I know god showed me many signs from the beginning but i carried on anyway and it’s been toxic ever since from he’s lies narcissistic emotional abuse and have stayed because I was thinking god wouldn’t want me to leave because children are involved.., This relationship has lead me to sin and has brought out the very worst in me I have been praying about this but I don’t seem to be hearing an answer to what I should do which has made me stay.... All I focus on is following Jesus... but I feel this relationship is hindering my walk...

We were both in Bible college when we married. He appeared to be a great Christian and a wonderful preacher The Bible says that you shall know them by their fruit. He had a horrible temper and slapped me so hard that my glasses flew off of my face. it was always all about him. He was always disappointed and angry with me. He wanted me to make a lot of money to support him in the ministry. I was married for 8 years to this angry frustrated man. I finally told my parents what my marriage was like. My father loaned me 5k to retain a lawyer. Although I had a restraining order, he would not obey it and was arrested multiple times. He had a court-ordered psychological exam and was diagnosed with a Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I am no longer living a life where I am walking on eggshells. Make sure your future spouse is capable of empathy and kindness. Make certain that they value you for who you are, and not how they can use you.

God showed me the person he wanted me to marry yet I was young and in the world. I slammed that door many times with the man I should have married, Satan used the man I married to get me away from God. I spent almost 5 years of abuse, heartbreak, feeling unloved, and then finally abandoned with our 1 year old and pregnant with our second. He abandoned us for another woman that had her own kid. The last year we were together he left us 3 times and each time I thought God wanted me to make my marriage work and fight for it. It was always me fighting for the marriage, never him. I realize finally God was trying to remove him and I kept going against God's will. God showed me 2 days before he planned to abandon us on our daughter's first birthday that he had been cheating and was planning to leave us. This last time was the final straw and I see now God saw his heart and that he was bringing me away from God. I wish I could go back in time because I wouldn't have wasted 5 years of my life with someone who never truly loved me. If the relationship isn't rooted in God it'll never work and it's not God's will for our lives. I dont know what God has planned for me and my babies but I'm trusting in him!

Before i met my husband i asked the most high to let me meet the right personne. I was 17years at that time. One week after i met a boy of my age. We tried to know each for a long time before we deceided to move togather. Some years after we were togather, got married in our 20ties.( we took the time to no each other before going further in our relation ship.) We are both chrisrians. And the most high is the head of our relationship. 12 years later we are still togather, married with two children and still in love with each other. I knew further in our marriage that he also asked the most high. To give him a wife. This makes me laugh because we mad the same prayer at the same time not knowing that the most high will answer to our prayers. He did it. He is my first love and i am his first love. My feelings for him are still intact. 😁 I know this is the will of the most high. Shalom.

I think I married the wrong person. We have never been on the same page spiritually. He would be ok just to warm a bench and be a closet Christian. I always wanted so much more, but I was too afraid of the pain of breaking up And didn't trust God to lead me to a man I could respect spiritually. Now I can only be happy with him if I tune down my passion for spiritual things and just focus on the things of this world. 😭 if you are single and reading this, it is sooooo much better to follow God as a single person than to marry someone who doesn't want to serve God and have passion as much as you do. You do not want to get stuck. You better make for sure for sure you're marrying who God wants you to. My dreams have died and I'm miserable.

We still fight a lot, and same as you, we are not on same page spiritually, even in Spiritual topics it will end in fight. God can still bring good out of any situation. He works all things for our good. Just because your marriage isn’t what you pictured or hoped it would be, doesn’t mean God is not working in it. Pray for new dreams and for God’s continued leading. He will not let your heart, giftings, talents, or relationships go to waste if you surrender everything to Him. He is the God of transformation.

The day of my wedding, I asked the Lord if this was the right person and decision. I sensed absolutely no doubts. This was November of 94. We had both become born again in September of 94. Well, after 30 years of dealing with two completely different personalities and many battles, we are still in love and still together. I think God often gives us a partner to show us the worst we can be, as well as the best. Selfishness is a real marriage issue, and we all have a degree of it. Last time I told the Lord I'd had enough and was leaving, I distinctly heard the Holy Spirit say, " I will never allow it". I heard the words, not just an impression. Oh yes...God is sovereign over our marriages.

Before looking for the right Godly woman to marry, I decided to get down on two knees before getting down on one to propose. Focused on allowing the Lord to guide my steps, He started putting in my spirit that she was coming in a few months. Then, about 2 months prior to her encounter, the Holy Spirit told me the exact week I would meet her. He told me that once I surrendered a habit in my life, He would bring her that same week. About one month prior, I started gearing up to die to myself and allow the Lord to take that sin away from me. After 4 weeks of procrastination, on a Sunday night, I got down on my knees and promised the Lord I would walk away forever from the unrepented sin in my life that His Spirit was convicting me of. On Wednesday, three days after repenting, I met her. Now, we have been married 11 years.

Re listen to this video sister in Christ.. Gods preventing us to marry wrong person once your married you are married to the right person(no excuse) therefore once your married to unlikely person focus on serving God and Gods love theres no such things a perfect christian marriage Narcissistict tendencies is not buy choice tho this people sounds that this is their lifes personal choice its a deep pain force in their heart and mind since who knows how long narcissistic personality is not the end game Gods grace is..Christ salvation is..Lets not put God power and love in a box( you cant change the person you can only share the word of God by words and actions) God can make everything impossible possible dont give up focus on the prize) Therefore ask God to search your heart..Let Him guide you in your actions and dicisions.. If your being gaslighted remember who you are in Christ pray and be calm and if your being angry remeber who this person is on Christ for Jesus comes to the world for all that sinned Theres opportunity to share the gospel and words of the lord.. its written in the bible do not separate to your unveliever spouse(diffrent from those categorized as Christian) show in your actions the way of the Lord so they will turn to the Lord (Christian or not if unbeliever) If theres physical abuse or tendencies analyze things that causes it and avoid provoking the person..separate for the mean time if needed for safety but do not cut ties..Always pray for your spouse healing..He might be the one agressive and causing distress but hes also the one suffering things we never imagined cuz we always looking into our own heartache.. whatever kind of narcissist person he is its an abused also that caused him that. You don't have to be abuse wife you only need to follow God I hope your not gonna try to reset your life to escape this mess..Our life on earth is short we cant make it perfect by reseting again and again..God maked a good useful pot out of shattered pieces of pot not a new clay... Just share Gods love by actions or word You dont have to heal the person its Gods work..Let God and rest.. Let them carry their own burden but if they need rest come to the Lord..

    1. Once you are married, you are married to the person God wants you to be married to 2. God will not lead you to marry the wrong person, but he would let you marry the wrong person 3. God would let you marry the wrong person because God would let you enter into an unbiblical marriage if you choose to 4. While I believe in the literal sense that you can marry the wrong person, I believe it is more helpful to focus on honoring God in marriage rather than trying to avoid pain (my favorit point ! When he speaks about Jésus who loves his Church even she's unlovable... Amen ) Thanks brother. God bless you, from France !

Being unequally yoked is not Gods will for His children. But as Pastor Mark said if you do get married to the right person it does not mean paradise. Marriage should reflect Christ and the Church.

I agree with this video, so well put. I think what is becoming the issue here is not if separation or divorce is acceptable but if remarriage is. I am separated for 4 years and divorced for 2. Through my time I have sought God in this matter intensely. Fasted and prayed, fought with God and fell on my knees in worship and adoration for what He is doing. All I can say from my experience with God in this matter is that the union of marriage is sacred, the vows that are taken before God is not likely and the COVENANT cannot be broken by man. Whether the person you married at the time of marriage was a sinner or later became a sinner does not make them the person God destined for you. The person God destined for you is YOU, your persevering for God in any all situations and not looking to any man to provide that. Therefore if your expectations of the marriage are not met you are not disappointed. In the instances where there is physical or any type of abuse, yes please do not remain in that marriage. However God does not Condone remarriage either in such instances as your heart should be so fixed on Him only that you would not seek outside affection. Also in the case of infedelity, it was due to the 'hardness of their hearts' that He permitted divorce. Meaning thier unforgiveness, as God seeks Holiness before all else. However if you have Christ in you and allow separation for a time and you 2 can mutually work it out, you should return to your spouse. Please listen and read more on rejoice marriage ministries and BTG Movement. They are beautiful testimonies and ministries of marriage true to God's heart and word. Be blessed everyone. In Jesus name

Hi Mark. I'm new on your channel and I'm instant subscriber. I have a question. You said in one of your videos that downloading movies falls into category of theft. Can you elaborate or even make video about it? I download a lot and I see it completely differently. I would love to have a discussion about it. God bless and keep up the good work.

I'm a single brother, and I do feel the need for a relationship now than when I was younger, the people I sometimes like are in a relationship or don't like me, also I consider my financial situation. What do I do? I'm not necessarily the dating type, I believe if I love you for marriage we could court and get married, can you advise bro? Also are your counsel just on relationship?

I wish I could send this video to my now ex-wife. She saw the marriage as a business deal were it had to be a fairy tale story 365 days a year.😪

It does not matter if you married the wrong person. You can still be peaceful at knowing that you are under the perfect plan of God. "Wrong" things teach us, and it is the plan of God that we learn.

Yes, people do it everyday. You will do it again and again until you seek the truth. God’s Truth is tell all and acceptance of it. Many are still in unbelief...

I was with my husband for 16 years before I was saved in an ungodly relationship, therefore as a God fearing woman with an ungodly husband I stay and live according to God’s word, and serve this man who is now 74 with some mental illness, because God saved me this way to look after him and keep praying for his salvation. His illness was traumatic for 2 years for each of us differently, but he has settled and I am at peace so we can both be happy.
