Actually there sort of is flicky is actually the protagonist of another sega game named after him in the game you would have to gather chicks known as piopio and send them to some hallway or a trapdoor depending on which version your playing it was made as sega’s response to mappy an 80s arcade game with similar gameplay made by namco

Flicky in sonic 2 lore: someone was normaly playing sonic 2 when flicky apperread in title curious he go to the options and play as flicky, flicky has the abbility to enter badnicks and control them, in chemical plant when he was fighting eggman he falls in that purple water thing and died so in the next zone a red flicky appear and steal the emeralds (idk how he get those) and eggrobo replaces eggman in casino night we discover that our flicky is part of that four littles flickies that follow super tails he goes to the death egg in tails call and lose his emeralds and just got one sadly in death egg tails and the three little flickies died but now he got a new team of chicks and get an emerald now he have two emeralds and a team of chicks, what happens next? We will find out in the next episode! (Sorry for english issues im brazilian)

Man, just watching the video makes me wish we had a sonic game like this. It would be very cool to take control of badniks to use and experiment with. And I love the overarching story that went from a silly adventure with flicky to having to collect the chaos emeralds and save tails. Could you possibly make a game or at the least a Re-skin to see what could’ve been if sonic team actually made a game about the small flicky.

Here i come. I listened to the soundtrack, and all i can say, it was impresive...😅

Badnik Notes: Hill Top Orbinaut: Orbinauts typically can't replenish their fireballs once they launch. When controlled by a friendly face, though, Orbinauts can replenish in any lava pool! Spiker: Spiker drills are a valuable commodity; drill to the top of outcrops, launch it at enemies above you, or use it as a weight. If one misses you and you don't have one, you can use that one! Keep in mind you can only hijack a Spiker if it has no drill to hit you midjump. Rexon: These plesiosaurs need to be hit in the head to become open for control, but they have a lot of handy moves. Move Chirps, whip enemies with the neck, shoot the mouth projectiles, and even Reconfigure to walk on land!
