"If each moment is complete why do we need practice?". To let each moment be complete..

As I see it, practice is required in order to see the completeness of each moment. Without practice, time passes, thoughts follow thoughts, and the present moment is lost. With practice, we can let each moment be complete in itself, without judgement or care. No need to carry on an internal dialogue. So practice doesn't need a special place or time, it is happening all the time.

Alan Watts gave a delightful analogy of relative differences by comparison of the use of a microscope versus a telescope of where one places one's focus/attention at any given moment.

“The fool who persists in his folly, becomes wise”. There is nothing to practice, but practice is necessary until realization. Than one realizes there is nothing to practice, because every moment is full and complete.

My knowing 1:50 before he speaks is; we practice presence in a spiritual place (body posture) to allow the unknowable you to allow wisdom to pool in and bath the soul with love for all.

The Dusty Mirror is not inherently, unalterably dusty, or else the dust could never be wiped away. When the dust is wiped away, we see clearly. The enlightenment seed is there, but needs to flower through 1) the realization that practice should occur, followed by 2) the actual practicing. It's presence naturally impels us to practice, because our practicing is a natural manifestation of it. And enlightenment must be continuously made new because new phenomena are invariably streaming into our concrete, daily lives.

The answer is: you don't have to seek in the first place. If seeking is happening to you, it means you're still stuck at the self level. Search for this self and u'll end up finding nothing. It does not exist. Once you realize that the self does not exist, seeking will stop. Same goes for practicing, you don't have to, you don't need to practice anything.

there is no right answer to this question, because practice is life, like enlightenement and other stuff like painting... it just is or it is not. right there right now. opportunity or ability from practice to see paradoxes is a thing also, which can give you smile. but ultimately if you really want that thing then go and do it now, go get it. if you are not there doing the thing, it means you just want to do what you are doing a lot more. and of course doing nothing is also imposibility so just do what you realy like and want, which you already doing, practice or no practice. peace.

UPDATE YOUR INTELLIGENCE If you need to do something then the moment is not complete. Stop saying the moment is complete if it is not complete. It is only complete if YOU do something. Therefore YOU are critical to the awakened state. Therefore YOU exist as an individual actor and intelligence. Stop saying that emptiness is fullness. Just say fullness. Stop using old ideas that are wrong, and start being intelligent. Mankind needs to evolve.

I am afraid it's wrong answer in the video. The right answer is for individual to find it out just like a Koan practice.

prehaps, the idia that we need to practice was propoused by an ignorant person and averyone followed it blindely without realising that is not the truth. maybe the truth is that we don’t need practice. In this world, a person would become an expert or a disastrous and neither is not good or bad, but if the person becomes an expert is because he practized with the heart or in other words observing that each moment is complete and not because he “needs to practice”.

If so, why do say 90% of the people did not 'wake up' naturally , but live and died for centuries as individual non enlightened beings , before certain people started teaching. 'Enlightenment' has been the exception not the norm throughout history P.S i do not have any answers, just questions ;-).

Trying to explain non-duality in a dualistic world is kind of impossible. All these ideas and thoughts we have about the fundamental truth of existence never live up to the actual truth. So the crazier you sound in your paradoxical statements, the more enlightened you probably are 😂

It is not possible to be free of "thinking" the very instrument he uses to achieve that thinks. And what the hell does "free of intellectual investigations mean"? Isn't that just another way of saying "thinking"? He seldom makes any sense.

Speaking extremely slowly does not equate to wisdom. Saying stupid things does not equate to knowledge. Robes don't make the monk. In Japanese Zen drawing, the Master finds the moment, and creates in a few seconds.

He hasn't "cracked the cosmic code." One has to practice to achieve En-Light-enment -- literal union with Blessing/Blissing Light-Energy, the Spirit, or Shakti. This Blissing/Blessing Power is Grace, but one must practice in order to contact it and receive it. I'm an expert in Zen, as well as Dzogchen, Raja, Jnana, and Shaktipat Yoga -- and Zen philosophers are usually lost in space because Zen derives heavily from Nagarjuna's Madhyamika -- and Nagarjuna was a clueless perverter of original, or Pali, Buddhism.
