​@@ForgottenThingsStudioas far as I'm aware, the adoption process is just filling out a bunch of paperwork to make sure you'd be a fit parent. Besides that I don't think that you have to buy a child, but you will need to buy necessities for them. (I in no way mean this to be negative, I love the video.)

Actually in adoption the parents do technically buy the child. It's not free to adopt children, it never has been. There is always a fee not to mention background checks.
