Pastel_ Bear sorry if I’m a little off But in a way it’s like a mermaid But instead it basically sings to lure someone to them to basically attack Wiki- In Greek mythology, the Sirens (Greek singular: Σειρήν, Seirḗn; Greek plural: Σειρῆνες, Seirênes) were dangerous creatures, who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and singing voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

There needs to be s TV Series about a Siren's origin story with her as the main character with all of her songs in it. I'd watch that. I miss watching good supernatural shows..:)

OMG, this is by far the BEST rendition of this song. This songstress has TOTALLY captured the essence of what this tune is meant to be. Most other covers are drowned out by background music. It was a brilliant idea to just use the echoes of her voice to be the background. Lending to the eerie and haunting lure intended. Calling us ALL to the stairwell. Bravo Madame!

And this gives me an idea to write a atory on this in the comments :) So, the main character of this story is a little 14 year old girl (lets call her Aspen) and she has black hair, and blue eyes, with slightly sun-tanned skin. Start of the story: Aspen had just moved into the apartments in the area where the stairwell is (im guessing Nashville). And she had wanted to go explore, so she asked her mother ``hey mom? Can i go explore the area?`` and her mother replied; ``yes, but dont get lost okay?`` the girl replies; ``yes mother, i promise`` and she got her shoes, and walked outside. After walking for a couple of minutes, the girl had seen the stairwell and heard singing, so, being the curious girl she is, she walked closer. The voice was that of an angelic being and Aspen loved it. As soon as Aspen touched the first step, she was hypnotized by this voice, and brought closer to it. As she got closer, the voice got louder, but not loud enough to hurt the eardrums. When she reached the voice, she was back in control as the singing had stopped. Aspen looked up to see a beautiful woman with long, wavy brown hair, and beautiful hazel/brown eyes. The woman smiled at the child and said; ``what is it you with the most, dear child?`` Aspen thought for a couple seconds. Aspen gave a small smile and said; ``i wanna see my best friend who died a few months ago..`` she said to the woman. The woman nodded and said; ``i have sent a note to your mother saying that you are safe and are off to see one of your other friends, alright?`` Aspen nodded. The woman smiled and put her hands gently over Aspens eyes and after a few seconds, she took them away, and Aspen opened her eyes to see her best friend (their name is Jester) and Aspen broke down into tears, hugging Jester. After a few hours the woman let out a sigh, putting her hand on Jesters shoulder ``its time to go dear`` she said with a frown, and after the two said their goodbyes, Jester dissapeared and Aspen had appeared in front of her door (without realising that she had been in heaven for a couple hours) and Aspen looked around, to see that the woman was gone, so she walked back inside and her mother looked over with a smile ``welcome back dear`` The End ❤

Story time: For legal purposes,i'm going to call this girl Sarah because she seems like one although that's not her name so I don't get sued. So for a year I was in this school program called Chorus and there was Sarah.Was there for 2 years but anyways,the program is about singing.But when I tell you she was trying SO HARD to the point where she sounds bad.She had no shame in it and would always sing like that in every song we practice,she was so confident and thought she sounded good even tho everyone else and I bet the staff members and teachers that were there thought she sounded extra,weird or bad,there was no good.Once she was challenged by a group of boys to sing a song that includes a high note,and when she did that bitch CRACKED and STILL THOUGHT SHE WAS GOOD THEN KEPT GOING I CAN'T-.The boys were laughing at her when her voice cracked and ngl so did I,my heart leaped into my throat when that hoe looked over at me and then she stopped to go over where I was to confront me.I can hear the boys just saying "Ooooh,girl fight!" and like a bad bitch I kept laughing while she was making her way over to me.She said "Oh so you don't like my singing huh?So you don't like to support other women huh?When i'm gonna get up that stage and sing like a siren,your jaw is gonna drop and you're gonna regret dissing me!" Then stomped away to tell a staff member what I did,hun I didn't even feel guilty staff member or not.When a staff member confronted to me and asked me to apologize,I can feel the looks of the boys like they were coming up with an excuse if I said that they laughed too.But I didn't :),and I said "All I did was tryna have some fun while this girl was singing,what?Is it bad if I laugh?" Then the staff member nodded and left while I can see the boys's face expression like they were impressed.After that she said,"What was that about?" And I said "Honey,you're bad at singing even if you think you sound good" and she said "Really?I'd like to see you try singing!" And like a boss I did,mind you,my voice is angelic,a nb there told me that they could fall asleep just listening to me talk and sing.WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I SANG LOUD ENOUGH FOR THE ENTIRE AUDITORIUM TO HEAR AND THEIR JAWS DROPPED,EVEN HERS.And then she wanted to fight me after but I was still able to drag her ass and the end

Honestly though. Like in Conjuring you see the nun through the hallway and the mom just goes ahead and follows it💀 I also hate when there’s something dangerous and weird/suspicious coming someone’s way and they just stand there staring at it, and not running away, my annoyed ass yells at the screen telling them to run🤚🧍‍♀️
