I have never expected that repeating a certain substat in OET will render it useless, in so shocked. In also shocked that they want 7.5 in each IELTS band for the Foundation years in UK, seriously, this video made me rethink the whole process as someone who had just graduated.

This is what I tell people. It just depends what you are comfortable with. I have done both and I do not think that one is easier than the other .I think that they are incomparable.

I have a question about taking master's programme in UK as I find that most of universities put in the requriements for the course let's say (orthopedics MCh in Teesside uni) is IELTS 7.5 . so do they actually only accept IELTS or is it a matter of not reporting that OET is valid?

1.What is stand alone foundation programme,;as opposed to traditional plab1,2 -> fy1,2. 2.I have completed internship in India and worked for almost 2yrs how much is the required score for me in oet and IELTS. 3. Used to be only UKVI could be used for the UK visa, but that's no longer the case.

I was wondering if you are an American grad, then you must have not done your internship, [as they consider the internship as first year of residency], then did you start with FY1? Did you give PLAB or since you gave USMLE you were able to skip PLAB and directly apply for provisional regestration? Thank-you so much!

Once you get GMC registration, that is sufficient for your work visa. You don't need to show OET or IELTS then.

Does the GMC criteria for accepting an IELTS certificate include taking it while still being a med student? Hi. My question is bit different. Since you're from BD i thought you might able to help me or guide me to someone or place to get me what i am troubled with I'm planning to go to uk for a Msc which requires to convert my final year results to UK GPA system. Do you know how or where i can get that done? In canada there's a separate system for that. But i can't find something like that for uk. All i got from my university is a PERCENTAGE.
