    Hello sir, I have this question: Express 0x5ABC8 in IEEE 754 double precision binary floating point format. does it mean that 0x5ABC8 is in IEEE 754 double precision hexadecimal and i have to convert it in IEEE 754 double precision binary, or 0x5ABC8 is a simple hexadecimal and I have to convert it in IEEE 754 double precision binary the way you did in this video? please I really need an answer!

    I think I figured it out...they are trailing because the mantissa represents the numbers AFTER the decimal point. 🙂 so [FAFA.01]16---> 0 10000001110 111 1010 1111 1010 0000 0001 00000...0000
