Hwasa is a performer. Not many people can perform the way she does. she gives you vocals, choreo...most importantly she gives face!! Face is important and an area I think most idols lack. Give me expressions...show me how a song is affecting you. Its literally the easiest way to convey your music. Her stage presence is simply unmatched. some people might call it overboard but do you see the way everyone is hanging by their mouths??!! Hwasa is never boring...she knows how to gives the audience what they want.

Mmm apologized for not being aware, their company apologized for not educating their artists and for allowing their stylists to put the makeup on them. They apologized in English and Korean. They apologized to their fans face to face at their concert. For the n word case back in 2015, hwa did not know the lyrics of the song well enough in a radio broadcast and was given lyrics by the radio hosts. The lyrics in the Korean music site, melon, provided the lyrics with the n word (something that hwa is not responsible for). Most Koreans have absolutely 0 clue what the n word means - the s.k public is generally not educated in schools or academies on African American culture. The durag was apparently advertised as an accessory available for people of all ethnicities. Furthermore, durag searched in Korean only gives Korean sites actually selling the headpiece and when searched along with "African American culture" sites only show false justification of how Koreans should be allowed to wear it as a "hip" headpiece. Because the s.k public is uneducated and lacking in the knowledge of cultural appropriation, there are very little resources they can learn from on the internet. That's why international fans are always trying to educate the team, because the company and koreans fans do not have knowledge in that area.

Omg you read my mind, I searched everywhere to find any idol reaction to it. That performance was a level of it's own !

Our lovely Hwasa and literally MAMAMOO itself don't deserved the hate towards them. People's nowadays was full with jealousy and ego and judged people so easily without finding the right information. Funny how they think so hard on how to create a rumours and shady stuff to people yet don't want to do the same with dealing the situation or issues maturely instead of acting childishly and cancelling people blindly...🤷🏻
