Like the word pick me is literally used to describe a girl who put down other girls for the sake of gaining attention in front of a male/by others, in this case, the only pick me in this situation are the people who were cyber bullying wony (i am using her as an example since she gets the most nonsensical and unwarranted hate from kpop fans) They always like to put her down, blow things out of proportion from a 11s shorts or edits that were made to clearly portray her in a bad light. First thing you should know, some people are just born with a careless attitude, and some are born with a coquettish attitude (idk what's the english word, I just translated it from my language). It's like some people are happy to act cute or pretty in front of camera. Not to make people love them, it's just because they like to see THEMSELF like that. I am talking about Yuna here. I don't know much about her, but I often see her being like that just because she was feeling herself. She likes to see herself act like that, and I don't think she was faking it.

A normal person eats a strawberry with one hand. If they want to be 'delicate', use the other hand to cover the mouth so we can't see chewing. But holding a small food item with two hands is plain stupid.

yes they’re barely 20 but 18/19 year old ain’t kids.. nobody my age acts like this it’s lowkey insulting for u to assume ppl my age behave this way help 💀 and no it’s not some culture difference i’m also an east asian lol. i’m not trying to hate on them, but plainly stating that they’re definitely putting on an act because there’s a camera. i ain’t gna act the same way around the camera vs when i’m not, since i know thousands of ppl are watching me. however, i also wont be overly conscious to act this way. i’ll prob cover my mouth and not take big bites but definitely not puff my cheeks out and eat with 2 hands. i’m 155 and have smaller hands but there won’t ever be a strawberry big enough for me to use two hands which makes wony explanation invalid ( the interview afterwards she claimed she did that cos the strawberry was big )

We all know that people become legal adults at 18, hell, some are even working full-time jobs and/or raising families, but even then hardly anyone takes 18-year-olds seriously. People calling young people kids is an expression; not kids as in toddlers, or teens, but kids mentality wise - y'all are still SO very young, naive, and have yet to learn and discover yourselves and the world. It's just how it is, it's nothing bad. You yourself have probably acted cringe without knowing, when trying to sound or appear more mature, for example; It's just how the brain works at that age. No one said you can't be decent, well-spoken, cool, or what not at the age of 18 or 19, you absolutely can and you can also be so much more! What's important is that you simply want to be liked, and than need to be liked and appreciated is very high when you're young and impressionable. Wonyoung wants attention and wants people to like her and think of her as cute and sweet. Is it cringe? Yes, very much so. Is it uncommon behavior? No.

I find myself getting more senile about the new generation. Facebook memories had to knock me back down by reminding me of some of the cringey things I would post. 😂
