Nope, Jessica was just too good for this show. I guess the "Voice" factor doesn't matter in this show anymore. Just remember, Musical Instruments were allowed in AI since Season 7 where David Cook the First so called WGWG won. Women winners were great esp. Kelly and Carrie. Jessica did copy the songs (not all of it) but the twist of it was that it was she picked and belted out THE HARDEST SONGS.

Did anybody noticed that the guest stars performing every Results night are premonitions of who will be eliminated? Remember, when JHud, the Diva was the guest on Top 7, Jessica (a diva), got the lowest votes and almost got voted off..On the night Colton (the singer-songwriter) was eliminated, Kris-Allen, a singer-songwriter was the guest. Tonight, Carrie,a country singer was the guest, and Skylar (country singer) was eliminated. I hope Dave Mattews will be the guest next week! Hahaha.....

Have to disagree about River Deep Mountain High, it's hard to get past that after Pia's version. Hollie's take on that justified for me my opinions on why she shjould've gone home earlier than Elise

If this was a singing competition, Sylar shouldn't have been sent home. It should have been Phillip.

I actually love Phillip,and I love the fact that he hasn't been in the bottom yet. I'm not saying he has great performances week after week, he doesn't. But if Idol loses him, they've lost the last remaining original contestant. They've lost Colton, Elise, Skylar and if they lose P2, well get set for a karaoke final. Joshua, Jessica and Hollie can all sing, no doubt about that, but they do not do anything original. I hope P2 wins by a landslide.

This is a weird season for me cause my favorites are Hollie and Philip but I want Joshua or Jessica to win. Preferably Jessica. Elise has the kind of voice I normally love but for some reason she bugged the hell out of me and I couldn't get behind her :(

If I have to name the Best Idol Contestants of all time that would be - Fantasia Barrino, Latoya London, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Bo Bice, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert, David Archuleta, Crystal Bowersox and of course, Melinda Doolittle.

Completely spot on. Also, it's American Idol, not America's Best Singer. As lame as JLo is because she's not great (good?) at any one thing, she understands the total performance.

I actually thought Jlo was 40? Anyway, I wouldn't mind what she said so much if Jessica's dress had actually been very revealing, but it wasn't really.

Jessica's dress was fine, it was the SONG that was too mature for her, which made everything seem unfit for a 16 year old. Hollie has always been a good vocalist, it was her stage presence/song choice that put people off, so I don't think Micheal's comments are that accurate re: "Jesus take the Wheel, Honesty, Perfect" because she sang them all well, but her stage presence let her down. Also, I remember Carrie Underwood was called a robot during her season.lol

If this is a contest about finding real artists, I should be in, I'm an artist, I just don't sing. Lol.

So the top 3 should of obvi been Hollie,Josh,and Jessica...

david cook is on this week. he's closest to phillip's style :) (and im am NOT comparing the talent level of phillip and david. thats not even a contest)

Steven and Jlo have been on idol for 2 years how is Steven saying Joshua is the "top 2 best idols ever" -_- Colton was better than him,David Cook,Archuleta,Kris Allen,Adam Lambert,Carrie,Kelly,JHudson,Daughtry,etc... Joshua might be top 20

I know people say Phillip shows artistry. But does he? He makes every song sound exactly the same. He doesn't try anything different. Is that artistry? Honestly It's not fair to the others who out sing him.

OMG, being an artist and a singer is a totally different thing. PP is just a mediocre singer, if his fans (who are by the way tone deaf... do you know what tone deaf means?), compare to Joshua and Jessica. He should have joined a "guitar player who can sing" competition rather than a singing competition. you are just saying that he is an artist you you people think that he is cute...but that's all he's got.. but he cannot sing..videoke singing - maybe, but won't even pass as a good singer.

Seriously though - Phillip this week was so bad I had to fast forward ! Literally some of the worst performances I've ever seen on idol. It's unfathomable to me that people are voting to listen to more of that ! And I mean - he seems like a nice guy and everything don't get me wrong - but please - just stop with the "singing"!

I love Phillip, but his crazy fans like you, just irritates me, and makes me like him less. You're really not helping him at all :/
