A lighter colored primer will help you achieve the proper red easier. The primer color affects the final top color.

It looks great. I'm going to add those vents to my E36. Also you can polish out that bug. Just sand him with some 2000 grit and polish with compound

Yeah but intake should still keep the water out. My M3 basically has these stock lol
