Poorly illustrated by the news channel. When the reporter said "on that roof there" it made it seem like he was referring to the clip being shown. Idk why he says this. The clip shows 2 secrect service gunners on a rooftop reacting to the gunshots from the assailant. You can also see Trump and the podium, which is at the far left foreground of the 2 SS gunners, whereas those gunners are clearly scoping out their front and right side as the shots were fired. It seems impossible to indentify these 2 gunners as the attackers. At least that's what I'm understanding. Tldr: i think those were secret service gunners reacting to the assailant's gunshots.
