I do something similar with my guns before painting, I use pvc glue, works great for me to paint them in one go without worrying about having to skip spots for later.

Yes, it's good to be able to save time and effort during painting.

Thanks. The larger bases allow you to be more creative, almost mini dioramas.

Awesome hints. What was that urban base on the airborne 6pder? It looked like it was a printed decal of some sort. All your figures have such great paint jobs.

Thanks! The 6pdr is on one of the plain cobblestone bases from the FOW Plastic Rubble Bases set. Here is a link to how I filled in the holes and painted them. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z22X2LWpp5SsksY.html
