IdealPark car lift for the modern villa surrounded by nature

Along the Cascais coast, on the west side of Lisboa and inside the Sintra Natural Park, a wonderful modern villa set in the typical landscape of the Portuguese Riviera was developed: the Casa da Quinta da Marinha.
The materials and colours used were studied and chosen to achieve perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. Similarly, the access to the underground garage was designed with the aim of minimising visual impact, so the architects chose to install a disappearing car lift IP1-CM MOB by IdealPark. The car lift becomes an alternative solution to the ramp, combining functionality and aesthetics while preserving and dedicating all the outdoor space to gardens or courtyards.
The lid of the lift is covered with the same material as the surrounding area, thus contributing to a completely invisible result. It is also driveable and can be used as an additional parking area.

what will happen if a small child accidentally trapped or got caught between the ground and the cover? I hope it had some children safety feature.

The lift system has perimeter photocells to prevent the risk of shearing. These sensors are both vehicle accessible, positioned at the corners of the lift, and on picket installed at two heights (about 30 and 50 cm) on the top floor at a distance of approximately 80 cm from the perimeter of the system. Other safety photocells are installed on board the platform to prevent the risk of shearing and to signal the correct positioning of the car. A series of safety measures are also present such as a surface camera, colour display and on-board LCD touch-screen that allow to control the system area during all stages of movement. What if a small child happened to be on the top of the lift as it was rising up? What if a child were to get in the lift and start pressing buttons and placing his hands everywhere along the platform edge and shaft wall?

The lift system has various safety devices to prevent such incidents: photocells or laser scanners, surveillance camera with on-board monitor, sensitive edge and reduced speed when the roof is above ground. All pushbuttons are protected by a coded key or badge, so a child cannot activate the system. In addition, the system is only activated in hold-to-run mode and only the driver can be on board the system during maneuvering so that he has complete control over the situation. Each IdealPark car lift with covering roof comes fitted with perimetral guttering to collect rainwater. In the four corners the guttering has drains to channel water into the sewer system. More info here: www.idealpark.com/en/information/about-idealpark#faq
