Choosing props that are safe, easy and eye catching for pet photography is a challenge. Today's session is a 1980's Music Themed photo session with dogs and kittens for the local Animal Rescue-Animal Friends Alliance. How would we decide on and use the props for their fundraising campaign?

80's theme, lol. There's a radio station near me that plays nothing but 80s music. I guess they feel like that was the best decade for music. Thanks for the ideas!!!

@@ProPetPhotog I was young back then and there are some things I miss about those times. I heard the staff member mention Journey. My friend and I saw Journey live in concert when Steve Perry was the lead singer with the original band members. They had recently released Don't Stop Believin' Tickets were inexpensive back then. It didn't seem like a long drive either. That was fun.

@@ProPetPhotog My kid thought Glee was the one who wrote Don't Stop Believin'. We were at the toy store and heard it on the speaker. She started to sing it. I asked if she knew who did that song and the reply was Glee. I said no, it was Journey. We had a big disagreement. Well I took her home and showed her the album, LOL.

With your eye and timing and the helpers' patience and knowledge of furries, wow what a great session! I always feel so much better after seeing your helpers because every time (like just an hour ago) i try to get shots of Mix, i beat myself up because i never get what i want. I dont have a helper. Heck, ive gotten better reaults with wild animals in a zoo than with Mix. Frustrating. He's not toy motivated at all. Doesnt respond to sounds because hes deaf. Sigh.
