I'm so glad you made this video, Gayle. I have a basket full of great pieces that I've gotten in exchanges and they really need to go into a journal. I wasn't sure how that should happen and now I do. I need to get busy and just make some cute journals and fill em up! You've got tons of awesome ideas. I'll be back to see more of your videos!❤

Love all you share and so does my cat, Buster. I often turn your videos on my big screen tv and Buster sits on the coffee table and watches too. Sometimes he sleeps in our big chair, but if i turn you on he will get up and jump on the coffee table and watch. One time he came running from the dining room where he was sitting on the console looking out the window at birds, but as soon as he heard you speak, he ran to the tv. You have two fans here in Texas! Ps..he always "helps" me do my craft projects just like Wendy's Leo helps her. Yes, cats like crafting.

Wow, so many beautiful things and great ideas. I just received a box of greeting cards that my niece had been collecting from various family members, some of them no longer with us. I wanted a way to keep and treasure these so I went looking and found you. Thank goodness! I just made my first journal out of an Alice in wonderland book. It was a lot of fun. I intend to make a lot more. Thank you. Your are a great source of knowledge and a pleasure to spend time with🧚🏽🐝🐣🐿🦦🌼🌷

Somebody gave me a large Rubbermaid tote full of vintage greeting cards, and after I fussy cut images from some of them, I put the tote away not knowing what I was going to do with the rest. Now I know! I think Susie at Creative Cafe Girl makes greeting card journals, too and I had forgotten all about that. I love that all I have to do to get re-inspired to use stuff I already have is to turn on KZread! GREAT ideas, tfs!!!!

Another thing to add to the list of the to do lists!!! I need a basket just to put the thoughts in! But it would be a start as a newbie to keep track of the yummy ideas, starting a junk ideas book. Now, make one or buy one ,🤔 ??? That is the question. Be good make one, no, would end up buying more must have items. Buy one, soooooo much fun trawling through Etsy, which one to pick!!! TFS 😻

What amazing ideas, Gayle! I see something I'd like to try but have forgotten it by the time I see the next one. 😄 And today, I made my very first batches of coffee and tea dyed papers. Wow, what fun! After testing drying with a hair dryer, which worked rather quickly, I gave the oven a try knowing I would end up doing a lot of paper. So, after testing temps and timing, I found my stride and got it all done. Each time I pulled out the crisp warm paper, I let out a Gayle giggle of delight as I scrunched the paper in my hands, chuffed with my handy work. You're right about that gorgeous crunch, Gayle! 😍 The new paper is so boring and bland in comparison. Hope you're well, kiddo! 👍

My next project needs to be an idea journal! I want to make a "crafty angels" journal with happy mail that others have sent me. So much on my list of projects to do! I'd like to see that little tag pocket (at 7:10) a little closer. I don't have a punch but perhaps I could make a template? I think we all enjoy "Patricia Pockets and Patty Tucks"! There are so many talented artists that share their ideas so freely and continue to inspire us daily! Thank you for being one of those! I may not comment often, but I always watch and most of the time take notes! LOL Hugs!!

I loved this video Gayle. I was writing down lots and lots of these ideas in my “Idea Book” as you went along. Took me quite a long time to watch as I loved a lot of these. Saving this video too so I can refer back to it in the future. You definitely need Basket #2 as this one if full of wonderful ideas. Thank you for sharing all of these with us. ideas multiply like bunnies don't they!! it's amazing-mind boggling! you might need an idea suitcase! lol i can picture an idea journal in a format similar to the Better Homes & Garden ring bound cookbooks, it might provide more room for "expansion" haha. i think the one little pocket/envelope you couldn't recall where it came from might have been Sandy from Septeria18 YT channel. thanks for sharing gayle =)

Notice an item idea in your ideas book that I made for you it was the folded flash card I noticed you didn’t take the stickers out of the middle section Just wanted you to know so you might want to use them. Loving this idea of an ideas book it sure would make my crafting world easier a must do for me. Hugs

Baskets and plastic bins are what I use. I think it all depends on your craft room and what will work for you. ❤️

Please do some of this little booklets from 2nd idea book or tell who it is

I was wondering if you had a vid on how you make that last lil journal with the bunny on it? Does tht type of journal have a name? I REALLY have been trying to come up with a specific idea for a gift journal and that really fits the bill..I would LOVE to find out how it was made !!! All of these are genius, Gayle!!!

Looks like the puzzle saver I have to write the names on ideas so I don't have to rely on my memory..

I started my first idea journal in a 20-page pamphlet that I was sure had enough room for my ideas... hahahaha

Gayle, how did you make the inner inserts for your idea books. I noticed they are printed book pages? Did you make signatures out of a larger size book? FYI, love your videos!!!

Signatures made from all different types of papers. This journal made like many others I have videos of on my channel. 😁❤️
