Great vid. 3m per KWh is good. I agree with you about prefering speed limiter to cruise control. I find apeed limiter much more efficient than cruise control on my Nissan ENV200. I manahe to get 4.1 m/KWh in winter, and 4.9 in summer (mostly drive 30-40mph) but I always drive with speed limiter and rarely use heaters. I stick to heated seats and steering wheel.

Good Morning, i have covered 2K in my buzz cargo now. Very pleased with the ride, very nippy and easy to drive. Yesterday with the temperature between 13-15 degrees i achieved 4kw/m. Excellent Ricky Rich

I had the ID.4 and my wife had the ID.3. Both brilliant cars! I would have loved an ID.BUZZ but they were too pricey. The updated version of this with the larger battery LWB and new screen you get in the ID.7 will be amazing!

one major con i see is that the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

Yes a design flaw. I would take it back and make a stink. You want the wheel on the correct side, the left side 😂

Test drove one today for the second time - I’m sure they all come with twin sliding doors in the uk because we drive on the right they already have one door as standard and it’s too much effort to lose a door for us - I’ve ordered it in white with standard like yours no bells & whistles but today I drove one with rear hatch and window in bulkhead & i prefer - can only get 2.8m/kWh at 60mph no heater in b mode - needs a reverse camera ! ACC on demo model brilliant - thanks for the reviews this one at 2k and earlier one

Yes for some reason all trips start off fairly pessimistic on the efficiency, but the longer you drive the better it gets. I was a bit worried with my first couple Of trips but it quickly got better

Agree completely regarding using the limiter over cruise control. Far more efficient. Minimum 3.0 m/kWh with the heater on! Would be interesting to see you drive it “Citroen” style to see the difference in a like for like test. With the Citroen having the “desk” in the middle seat (which I use a lot to right up reports when charging) how have you found cabin storage? Particularly for the more valuable items? Think I’m going to have to arrange a test drive if it goes further and charges quicker than the Citroen/Peugeot to see what I can get out of it.

Yes I almost feel bad referencing the Citroen against it all the time but tbf , they are in the same market space and are about the same price ! Yes the little desk seat in the Citroen is definitely handy and the seat doesn’t fold up either , which was also handy in that. So private storage space is not as good but there enough space for sure. There’s much more room for the 2 passengers though , since you don’t have the uneccessary gear stick housing , which definitely gets in the way for the middle passenger. My passengers have reported being much more comfortable. I will do a proper efficient range journey and report back.

Nice review, I've had my cargo about 3 weeks and is running about 3m/kwh It's a big upgrade on my previous Env200 which was faultless over 3yrs/34k mls. I don't seem to have cruise control did you do anything to enable it?

Great video thanks for sharing. Couple of questions. 1) Does the commerce come with blind spot monitor? 2) What options did you tick on this model?

    1. No 2. I only ticked black paint with body coloured bumpers , and the inverter , that’s it ! I was surprised to get twin sliding doors tbh

Hi Phil , all depends what you paying per kWh, let’s say 10p , which would be a night rate , your going to be putting in about 75 kw , so £7.50 ? And for that you are going to get over 200 miles. This is all home charging obviously, don’t get me started on rapid charging prices !!! 😡😩😀😂

I think you need to educate yourself better, compare this electric vans range to other electric vans ranges and it's great, all vans have always used plastics as its hard wearing, and all vw vans are excellent build quality, I think the problem is you can't afford it weather you wanted it or not.
