Ok, let help you guys, since this is a very easy, if you don't have the shell icons folder. 1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. 2. type "sfc /scannow" and press enter. 3. Then wait until the scanning is done. 4. After the scanning is done, go ahead and Restart your Computer. 5. And then it your Computer should work as intended without any problems! (Go ahead and Pin this, PK.)

@@NuurAbdel-Ghani Once you get your icons back, you can go back into the registry and delete the string and restart the comp. that should remove the doc overlay

Run your comand promt as administrator Then type:- sfc / SCANNOW Write like this Give space after sfc After the completion of the scanning shutdown and restart it will work 100 percent sure
