The part they censored he said “ A feminist with no one to complain too.”.
Ren is deep in hiphop. The haters just doing it for clout. He deserves so much more respect.
This is what it looks like when a REAL artist does a retake with REAL appreciation and not cloud chasing! Ren put respect on NAS name in 20204!
the line feeding them pie pi is 3.14 today is 14th and 3rd month
Immediately listening a second time is the best kind of reaction. 😊
For me chemical reaction scheme was about all of you guys, reaction channels :) Proton is positively loaded but it need negative neutron for reaction to happen, then he says about atom reaction and that reaction channels supersized him, so he will supersize his order as like we are his order, we are the knights that will bring awakening to the world. :D Sorry, my brain goes into quantize mode after hrbz. Am I digging too deep? :P And imagine if this is start of new, positive trend in YT rappers era. Like YT MIXTAPE, passed from one rapper to another, "pause and eject" :D Instead of beefing on a poor beat, they'd had to try hard to pay their dues to those Legends on original track. Mumble beeflex no more! :D

It goes deeper than that. Nas used Large Professor to produce the track, Large Professor has a track called Breaking Atoms.

In 1994, Large Professor produced three of the ten songs on Nas's Illmatic ("Halftime", "One Time 4 Your Mind", and "It Ain't Hard to Tell"), the most of any producer involved with the album. Breaking Atoms is the debut album of American/Canadian hip hop group Main Source, released July 23, 1991, on Wild Pitch Records. Production was handled by the group, primarily by member Large Professor, and took place during 1990 to 1991 at Homeboy Studio, Power Play Studios, and Libra Digital in New York City. The album has been widely regarded by writers and music critics as a significantly influential album and has been noted for debuting rapper Nas, who appears on the track "Live at the Barbeque". His contribution to the song was sampled on "The Genesis", the intro track to his debut album Illmatic (1994).

Totally agree 👍
This man is an enigma…he can rap can play many instruments and sing. Wow…talent personified.
The flow! The delivery! The performance! The one-take! The lyrics! His LYRICS! All of them out of this World, as usual! :) However, the icing on the cake is Ren's remix of the beat. The added audio is great, especially the guitar! :)
Rats bring the boubonic flow...geeking on these bars! Loved your reaction.
How he timed crossing the street is insane.

We all need that sweatshirt!!
Watch when Ren crosses the road... It counts down to 0 and then he stops !!! 😮
Great job on this reaction. For a first listen you caught a lot. I don't think anyone knows what that word was in the beginning. I think he's playin us. It's not like the rest of the song isn't explicit. I've watched a few of these so far. There are so many layers to this. He references at least 9 of his tracks and some of those are doubles because in those tracks he also references his other songs. This will give anyone a headache.
That he puts up his hand at 2:10 which is half of the 4:20 original (on Spotify) isn't a coincidence. It's then black to 2:13; (11)213 is the zip of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. NAS birth place. I used to walk on Flatbush in the mid nineties. Different times...
sounded like zip it then go to me.

If you rewind a little, after pausing, you won't miss as much. :)
I like how Ren does Mike Tyson bars with Mike's famous uppercut sequence. dodge dodge... hook to the body..lightning upper cut right after
I like to think he says "Karen" in the blank out.
OMG, I screamed when you said, "i know I'm black and you can't see me from a distance" 😂😂😂 Why don't we have better technology?! ❤

As King Dotta called it..."Gill-matic" 😂❤
He says Vincent van Gough in the hunger
The blur might be a reference to Nas using the f word (rhymes with maggot)on Halftime, which would be blurred today,idk for sure

Great reaction. Thank you.
He hasn’t dropped the link to buy the sweatshirt yet. He has other clothes that he has for sale but the word it is and how they dropped this video. The sweatshirt will be coming available soon. By the way, he says, suck it then zip it then go thanks bro but it would be cool if after that he threw in leave your painting by Vincent van Gogh but yeah, you made that bar up
I love that you know and lkve Illmatic, so you appreciated it so much.

Great reaction:) -mark my words...the world will know the name REN. cu soon!
Two comments: the word that gets censored is f*****t. Also he mentions pie. Ren released this track on 3-14 which as you know are the first 3 digits of Pi

I read on Ren's Insta that the blurred out word isn't anything bad, but he wanted to make more controversy, so made it sound like "fa*%ot" lmao! One love from Scotland. 💙

Think the reference is to Lil Peep who died in 2017.
I think the blurred part was Ren saying flick knife which is an illegal weapon in the UK

….with no one to complain to? Doesn’t fit. “Karen” does.
I hate the race thing where people play the race card but I can’t believe that there are still reactors that watch him and say he’s trash, especially when he Raps how trash he is. I’m not even gonna shout out these guys names but the shit they were saying from the UK or because he’s white. I hate that shit. I love you and your reactions, especially because you keep it so real and I’m not saying everyone has to like his music and of course they’re entitled to their opinion you could tell before the song even started were gonna say it was shit. I wish I could say it was just because they are big Nas fans and they don’t think anyone could do justice over his beat which I could even live with, but to say he’s a corny trash rapper is just so disrespectful and ignorant. 46 and white from New York City so I got a very diverse group of friends. Do you notice this at all or is it just me? And if you do notice, it is your opinion On white rappers? I’ve heard everything from how easy they have it they shouldn’t even be allowed to wrap because they don’t understand. Hip-hop , all this crazy shit. But I will see how anybody can say this kid trash. I don’t know 😢
He says the "F" word which is equivalent to a cigarette in the UK.
@sputukgmail

But that doesn’t fit with the following “…with no one to complain to”. I think “Karen” is more likely.
@NightFogFilms
3 ай бұрын
@@sputukgmail Karen would not be blurred/blanked out. maggot with an (f)....the person they confided in said just what we did. For one, Nas said it in the song and also it clearly started with an F. Ren mentioned he needed to start a controversy because their music gets all the attention.
@sputukgmail
3 ай бұрын
@@NightFogFilms “it clearly started with an F”? It’s pixilated and the sound distorted… I didn’t say it but someone said it’s “f’in Karen with no one to complain to” - which starts with an F if it needs to, and the line makes complete sense. The other F doesn’t fit with the “with no one to complain to”. I get that Nas used that word so I’m guessing that’s why people are speculating that, but the bar has to make sense and that suggestion fails on that test - unless I’m missing something? Oh and the idea of blurring it if it is Karen would be funny and smart - because getting someone calling someone a Karen censored/ cancelled would fit the stereotype…so it would make it a multi layered line.
I would like to see you react to Coast Contra. They are the best group out now. I suggest you start with the Breath and Stop Freestyle then Never Freestyle. After that, pick any other. They never miss.✊✊😎

I did decent amount of their stuff it’s on the channel
Rap without Ren is like a skull without a brain. Rest in peace Pac or Pat. Like a Mike without an earlobe bite.
🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🫶🇬🇧
He says "feminist" .... Chinchilla would kill him 😂😂😂😂
When the words are blurred, I think he's saying 'like a fu*king Karen with no one to complain to.'
My man, the edited/blocked lyrics are: ...a "f*ckin Karen" with no one to complain to.... ;)
@sputukgmail
3 ай бұрын
Ah - I was thinking Karen based on the “no one to complain to” and that that might have been a line he had second thoughts about (but also, might be censored to seem like it was complained about to make it multi-layered), but the flow didn’t seem to work with just “Karen” - I didn’t think to add to it :)
Therapist
Does anyone know what he’s saying when there’s no one to complain to?
@ItsMeBliz
3 ай бұрын
Think it's a F'kn Karen, but censored to reference Naz using another F word that rhymes with maggot.
I know alot of you were not around 13 years ago and doing reaction videos….but I’m going to say this. What Ren did here is NOT IT! If you going to pay homage to one of the greats you need to come a little better then this in my opinion. It’s ok, but not as dope as everyone else is making it out to be. 13 years ago Elzhi dropped Elmatic , which is considered to be a classic by many, and gave Nas his flowers and did so much better with his homage on Halftime then this by a long shot. I respect Ren for giving Nas his flowers here, but honestly this is really not knocking, well in my opinion. Do yourself a solid and when you get a chance, check out Elzhi halftime.
Nah bro.... Rap without Ren is like skull without a brain dude, china without rice, bible without Christ.
My bet on the missing word is "Feminist" 😝 Nobody compares when it comes to complaining 😉
@sputukgmail
3 ай бұрын
Or “misogynist” - that would fit too… But I think it’s probably “Karen” as that’s become the “go to” name for people who complain for the sake of it.
Total repect.🪷
Trash!!! Leave Nas stuff alone.
