What a great video and a fantastic collection in good used condition.My motorcycle test was very similar to what Dave described way back in 1971 here in Northern Ireland.Thanks for taking the time.

I'm almost certain I met Dave ( both of us had our helmets on) yesterday while we were filling up fuel near Flemington. Great bloke, spoke to me about the Vincent. Absolutely stunning bike, I just couldn't stop looking at it. Sounded amazing too.

Fantastic bike and passionate owner. What a great watch. Always been a holy grail for me too since I saw one in a motorcycle shop in Auckland whilst working briefly in NZ about 20 years ago.

Thanks Paul, Dave is a great storyteller which makes my job easy. I think a Vincent is the Holy Grail for many riders, for me, would love an early 1960s BMW R69S in the garage, oh an a Manx, a Kawasaki Z1, a Brough Superior, an R90S, and even an Arch.

I got my license almost exactly the same,but mine was in Sidcup in Kent,UK. The bike test was similar they gave you a route, and the examiner walked around and then I was given my license

My dads license test was exactly the same , great video and bike 👍👍👍👍

Glad to hear you liked the video Russel. My dads test was very similar, although the police Sargent in the small country town in North Queensland where Moy dad grew up thought my he already had a license as he seen him riding around town for probably a couple of years prior.

I had exactly the same type of licence test in Tumut. Only on that day in 1973 it was flogging rain and the cop never even ventured out side. I had to walk back into the cop shop dripping water everywhere and he just said here's your licence mate.
