When I first watched Paul Allen’s video I initially thought the concept of his video was gonna be like this one but he just used 808 patterns from popular songs which was alright I guess but I was honestly kinda disappointed he didn’t go over 808 patterns the way you did, this is the type of video I wanted to see when I read the title not just some 808 patterns from a specific song.

Or put the melody in Edison and then right clicking the sample and clicking regions, then detect pitch regions, then look at the first note and you can use ur 808 starting with that note. You have to tune the 808 for this to work to tune the 808 you do the same thing. When you find the note you go under the functions tab and right click the piano note that is it 808
