Funny how rich guys who purchase these kinds of things don’t seem to hold on to them. They’re always in and out, buying and selling, passing it on for something else new. This is because they didn’t actually do the creative work. If they did they’d cherish it like a teenager with his first truck does after he’s turned every bolt himself. They’d treat it like a family member and never abandon it.

Like the Icon F100 but the stance is a little squirrely. I have 2 1970 F100 and the style is so simple an pleasing. The thing I always gravitate towards is the amount of dead air around the wheelwells on some 4x4's an this body is one that the wheel openings need to be filled up not jack up. BEAUTIFUL TRUCK

I am 100% behind Jon on his decision not to touch up the trim paint. He’s right…where do you stop…especially when it’s a resell that’s racking up cost on icon at this point. But, the real point is, it really does hide its tech…and the little bit of wear and fade goes perfectly with this resell. I’m betting the 8500 miles on it were damn near excruciating for the original owner (who most likely was creeping towards a half million dollar build) to even drive. This second owner won’t have all the ties to the truck the original owner did and won’t be so apt to baby it. Jon himself knows what went into the build so he would make it a showroom example. Some new, rich, unbiased owner will use this truck!!! Use it. We all want to see the outcome of 100,000 miles and the roads it travelled, since a lot of what icon builds is based on the fact that the manufacturer cuts corners. Icon doesn’t. Undersea pipe coatings tip to butt…mil-spec wiring for boats!!! Etc etc. this thing is a Sherman tank in an evening dress (if you count new wrangler jeans n boots and evening dress.

I do think some underbelly protection would be excellent. I don’t have any ideas on how to incorporate considering language. But some skid plates for the radiator, oil pan, transmission, transfer case, diff, and gas tank would be nice. Even if it looked like the black sheet metal from nowadays oem trucks. Just to “hold its dress up” while splashing through some muddy puddles. Sometimes there’s rocks and stumps in them muddy puddles.

Considering ford uses lightweight aluminum, maybe would have to use a custom Kore carbon fiber body! Now wouldn’t that be cool. A 100% carbon fiber ‘76 body on a 2023 raptor R chassis and driveline???!!!

I had a '76 F100 Custom shorted with two wheel drive, a 300 cu. in. straight six, and three on the tree transmission. No power steering or a/c. It was the funnest truck and was sorry to see it go.
I’d love pulling out the Walmart in a truck like this. Food stamps spent and living the high life in the trailer park
I saw the original video. So 8500 miles later and the truck is for sale. You people with money have a problem.
looks affordable. an everyday build any old joe can do. cheap fun.
Cool truck!
Beautiful truck
Good looking truck
Extremely Nice 👍
Buckin Billy Ray needs this rig
Great build! I would love to drive
It’s really nice. Always wanted one of these. One done like this be very cool. Yea. Such a nice build
Does anyone else watch these videos with dreams of their someday plans… while constantly clearing their throat? Dude! Get that frog!
I know that area I took my Cadillac in that when was muddy 😂 you can get food shots of the valley at night going up the canyon too 🙌 always rode my bike /hiking there too

If you make it to the trailer park are you will notice on the side there is like some firetrucks etc idk how they got there but super cool 😎
I'm in love!
I’m very interested in the seatbelt arrangement. Did you have to strengthen the stock hard point to switch to shoulder belts? I’ve been wanting to do that with my ‘67 for a long time. Where did you source seat belts?
Hydro boost brakes nice touch 👍
My favorite so far
Nice color, gotta love baby shit yellow
Love this truck just dont like the !8" wheels i get the logic on the breaks mabey increase the hub cap size ?
This truck has never seen a day of work in its life
Love this truck and would LOVE to have it in my driveway, but $500k is a little out of my price range.
What?? It's Coyote powered ??? That is so sick!!!
I’d love to have these wheels and tires on my old F150! Of course I’d love to have the whole truck, but I’d settle for the wheels 😂
I definitely like it, there would only be a couple things that I would change for personal preference. and that is a manual transmission, and a slider in the back glass of the cab. I don't dare want to know what the price is, because I already know that I can't afford it.
Super Kool 70 F100
If I had the money it would be sitting in my garage right now
The 1970 Ford has the best looking grill. 😍😍😍
goddamn that's a nice truck.......
Yes very nice pick-up...
I would take this beautiful truck over any new truck right now. Nothing like cruising in an old school truck, specially a F100 or F150......
Beautiful truck. I'm surprised how close to the centerline the rear coilovers are.
Good luck.
That was my first truck in high school bought it in 78 very good shape it was a 67 short bed 4 wheel dr still my favorite truck of all time sure wish I had kept it 😢
Good looking vintage Ford, but a pretty standard ICON list of mods. $500k?? ROFLMAO!!!! Nice $250k "dealer markup" right there...these ICON builds are getting marketed to the ultra rich and idiotic.

How much does 4 linking the rear add to ride quality? Does it have sway bars front and rear? very nice build!
@ICON4x4Design

Yes sway bars f/r. Night and day improvement beyond leaf springs in regards to 4x4 and on road ride quality. Probably doesn’t tow as well though
Do you sell those wheels on their own? Looking for a square body suburban rim to fit original poverty caps
Is that your old Mercedes G squared for sale near Doral Florida?
RIP original interior from you, but the new one looks good too.
Beautiful truck, it is just I do not value it at $500,000 per your website. That can literally buy 5 modern Superduties.
Drool!!!
Guess it's sold, no price. Nice truck.
Crazy I have a 69 Ford F-100 my dad ordered in 69 and a 70 F-250 both 4X4s I can’t believe the price tag
Can you get one of those with the coyote and a manual trans with the transfer case?

What’s the highest mileage a customer driven their ICON vehicle? Always seems the vehicles going in for resell are low miles

Those owners keep them! 75k is the max I have seen
My dog misses my old Power Ram’s big bench seat. Would you be interested in my Porsche 993 Carrera and a kidney for this beauty??
If I win the lottery I'm bringing my grandfathers 1957 Austin to Jonathan Ward.
My dad mostly had Ford cars, I never understood why. Until I started to work on a Ford of mine.
A goal for me: Icon is of the companies I will buy from when I get to that point when my finances are set straight.
Seems way nicer than the velocity build trucks I'd bet cheaper also, the velocity are 285k plus

OMG I WANT!
With that price, I believe you won't be making too many more of them. Kind of a shame that these types of restomods will only be enjoyed by the filthy rich. I guess I'm jealous that I don't have surplus cash to own something like that. Having an old pickup I can appreciate what you guys do, I just can't afford it.

Sometimes there’s rocks and stumps in them muddy puddles.

like the original cloth better. wouldn't mind an inch or two lower ride height. great truck.

Is it an 8 foot bed or 6 ?
$500,000.00. Thats a good round number. 🤑
Love it! Too bad I don't have a spare $500,000 right now. Would love to have it, but that's out of my league.

What's the ballpark cost of these?
I see u didnt paint the black in the lower chrome and i thought i saw some dented chrome
This is really cool, but that original light interior was much better.
Testify Brother Ward! (Sorry, your hat made me say it :))
I know icon has done it before where they’ve morphed an old body onto a new chassis. A 71-76 bumpside short bed graphed onto a raptor chassis and internals would be cool. Considering ford uses lightweight aluminum, maybe would have to use a custom Kore carbon fiber body! Now wouldn’t that be cool. A 100% carbon fiber ‘76 body on a 2023 raptor R chassis and driveline???!!!
