Even in the year 2024, this is still one of the best rpgs ive ever played, listened, and seen, i just love it so much that its one of those things that has inspired me as a fantasy writer!

It's great to see that people are still in love with this game, even though it's fifteen years old now

Same here too. After days and years of refusal to play during my lifetime, I finally finished the game today after days of frustration and I later calmed. And I ended up crying at the end, for how much emotional and heartwarming the ending was. (So, I started to like this game) And as of result, I would become a poet and I would surrender to poetry, and I would write some poetries based on the video games (especially this game along with Shadow of The Colossus), movies and TV shows. and of course, the vision, history and original stories.

this game deserves a full remake like Shadow of The Colossus received!

I bought a PS3 and bought the digital edition of Ico on the PS3 store. Just finished it. It was amazing

AttilaJP Well, the music for one, is just incredible and your overall scene selection is great. I love the fact you've used in game footage as well as cutscenes, really reminds me of the beautiful level design within the game. Glad to see people like yourself making these sorts of videos. AttyJP Well, that kind of depends on how you interpet it. That's half of what I love about Ueda. He refuses to make canon by setting the games so far apart on the timeline that you can't really tell. I personally think that they both survived, and that the post-credits scene is legitimate. Were he dreaming, how would he know that he was in a boat, or that both of his horns were gone, or that Yorda was not still stone? EDIT: And I'm about 17 years late to this awesome story.

I was also pretty late to this game actually, but it quickly become one of my all time favourites once I found it, as did Ueda as one of my favourite developers. Yeah, I'm really glad his stories can usually be interpreted in multiple ways, and never connecting in an obvious way. So, they can each be digested on their own right. Those are good points by the way, in regards to why it might not be ICO's dream. Though, personally, I still interpret it as sort of a 'what if?' dream-like scenario, maybe not his dream, necessarily. It feels sort of like an after-life place to me, where they can now live happily after the sacrifices they made for each other. I'm definitely glad that end sequence is in there, though, as it makes it more bittersweet for me, rather than just sad.
