I think his smiled returned once he found out who killed his mom and he stopped blaming himself. One of my favorite smiles is when hes looking over Kenpachi and makes a joke never imagining hed come to save him, one of the strongest captains. Lol he had a juvenile kind of smile. Ofc his better ones are with Orihime and seeing Kazui smile just as Ichigo once did as a baby boy is the sweetest things ever. Kazui looks like Ichigo but I think personality is more like Orihimes 😂

Adult Ichigo cut the Chains of Hell, that were considered unbreakable by Yamamoto in Bankai, in fucking Shikai without even trying. He's broken as fuck. And since according to Kubo he apparently mastered all of his powers in the timeskip, there is all of three people in the verse who can reliably stop him. He killed two of them and sealed the third.

I hope when Adult Ichigo uses his Merged Hollow form, his hair’ll grow like how it did in Ulquiorra’s fight, like a feature when he mastered it

They act like he’s bland but they don’t understand the symbolism. Ichigo’s journey is an internal one. Instead of training to become something, it’s more about discovering and accepting what he already is. Only when he learns to accept his other halves is when he unlocks true balance, as shown with his final bankai. He’s certainly a unique protagonist
