Just got this build following your guide to so far lvl 93 and must say i'm really liking it. It's my first time ever playing a totem build and for the most part your guide and pob was pretty easy was on part where you put flame wall has a red gem and its not. Then the part in the notes also about crafting weapons has you level I did not understand so skipped it. I'm not to great with crafting but still even with that I flew through everything. Thanks a lot for the guide and for the set-up I have all the gear and stuff, only needing to go to the next step of the expensive clusters and jewels left. Again thanks for this and I think I might use this now has a starter each time. :)

Glad your doing good. i done your build last league and it was super fun! Just a couple questions though. I just got a soulmantle and was wondering when you make the swap from spark? What priority do you recomend for gems if you only have a 4link soulmantle as well?

Thanks for the guide. Just wanted to mention that Onslaught as mentioned in leveling notes was replaced by Momentum. And Momentum only supports attacks. Might be important not to mislead people who need leveling notes.

Von Vikton is a good player but is very poor at updating his guides and PoB's. There are other errors...new players will get confused in spots.

@@becople1491i'm asking myself the same question. Pierce is pierce support right? if yes then the chest before Hillock now has momentum in it, and it's not what we're looking for. So my leveling might be a bit slow because I rely a lot on guides to direct myself.

You get Pierce Support on ranger from the first quest after Hillock now (Mercy Mission - get the medicine chest), so u can still mule it, its just 5 more minutes to get it.

Hey man, I followed one of your guides in Ritual league, and I had a blast playing FP & IceSpear Totems. I just wanted to ask, how does Shockwave Totem compare? I can see it's probably lower end DPS, but would it feel better since there is no travel time for projectiles? I am probably trying both anyway, but I will start again with IceSpear, I got enough of a budget to go into the high end version, and once I get the feel I will try shockwave as well with the same setup but non-projectile based.

I have used this build for the past two leagues. It's by far the best starter I've ever played. However...I'm going to give RF a try. But you can be sure this build will be my end game mapper/league mechanic build. I'm running RF to farm Delve.

Great build, Ill give it a try this league, not gonna start with glass cannon though.

This will be my third league with this one, I just love it! Got over 1Billion on damage, but once I got Mageblood went back to 500m to be tanker. Still, it just obliterate any boss on the game, just Uber Sirus that is harder but once you get used to the fight it gets better. For the new league it does sounds like it'll be awesome for it. Btw, I love to farm Blight, and this build it's perfect for it and you can start early on. Once we get good damage, getting a pierce somewhere, its just perfect for mapping with IS. Oh, yea you die, but get a lot of currency, then level up using that currency to 100 easily and quickly, don't waste time trying not to die.

Heya. Great content. Love the build and guide. As a minion and totem Andy this is my vibe. So with the 2 handler that reduces your res; what point do you switch? With -60 res your basically running around ready to die hehe. I’m assuming too this is used with freezing pulse and ice spear only? Thanks

Tatoos also reducing curse efectiveness in this league so with 2 jewels, Yugul and 2 tatoos (each give 6%) on int nodes we are at 100%.

Thank you for the update! I'm league starting this in just a moment! I'm going to help Alira instead of taking the +25% crit multi vs uniques mastery, since with Alira I get the all res and I get crti multi that affects vs rares, which are often more tanky than uniques.

So I followed the main build the transitioned over to his main characters set up. It shreds but its the very definition of a glass cannon. Currently lvl 92, though should be 93+ with the amount of red map deaths ive had, thankfully only 5 red maps to go. Pros Shreds single targets like Essense and Metamorph. Decent at Trials though you'll still get one shot regardless, keeping a safe distance helps. Cons If a fart in the breeze looks at you the wrong way, dead. Stopped doing Delve/Heist/Abyss/Ritual, basicly anything that has close quarter combat. Playstyle Champion EA/Jugg RF this is not, as a solo player I try to always keep the totems ahead of me at a stead pace, only bad thing happen when you try and zoom ahead.

I wanted to thank you mate ! I tried your build last league (3.21), and it was the first league starter build that I've ever tried that allowed me to kill easily every uber boss of the game (expect for Sirius, the lack of tankiness make him quite difficult to kill with this build).

so with his pob you can clear all uber boss? im not an expert with uber bosses.. normal sirus etc are very easy. i wonder if i should try to do ubers.. :D im a bit affraid

This. It was the first league starter that made me 150 divines when other builds cant keep me playing because the lack of progress. Started RF this league, but due its meta its hard to get good items for a nice price.

Love the guide! Having a great time so far, but it seems that the endgame setup is not available in the posted PoB?

yaknow i really hated playing this build last league until i got a cast on death + portal setup. then dying during maps became bearable and the boss damage is ridiculous so it made the build worth it IMO

I've been following your POB and noticed there's quite a big change in the tree when you go from "104 points" to "Final with Cheap Clusters" - at what point should this change be made? Do you do this after getting a 6link Soul Mantle and equipping Ice Spear?

THanks for the guide. Im playing this in ssf. I started with RF inq and rerolled once i got all the uniques (besides jewels and dmg per curse ring). It seems good so far. Im just wondering why we dont reserve more of our mana for auras?

im curently playing this and enjoying it getting ready for Triple damage staff transition but im also wondering if there's any tattoo's that would benefit this builds damage

I just finally got the staff, and I'm in SSF league! I don't know how you got your damage up so much, but I'm tryin' to replicate.

I'm not sure if there's an issue with the PoB link, but there's some really weird masteries allocated. It has the Life Mastery that requires 6 life masteries allocated but doesn't allocate any others so it does nothing. It has the elemental resist inversion node but isn't that actually a DPS loss with all the resistance reducing curses you're using? It also has the 25% chance to open a nearby chest on spellcast which is weird and Pain Attunement without a way to induce low-life reliably?

So, I've been playing this build (or a variation of it) thanks to this guide and a few others, and it's been really interesting and powerful...also my first totem build. I will say, I hit a brick wall at level 90 doing T16s though, for some reason. I'm just getting 1 shot from off screen constantly, ended up multiple times dying over and over at 90% XP, going all the way back down to 0 in order to finish a map, and particular bosses like the Brine King (in maps) were really frustrating. Overall, I like the build, and I want to keep playing it, but I really feel like I need to figure out a way to make this a little bit more playable for myself, or figure out the missing thing from this guide that makes you not get 1 shot from off-screen so much it makes leveling difficult. Also, tiny nit-pick, but....if you say you're going to link your old guides in the description, please do. It bugs me to no end hearing that repeated in the video and then not seeing it in the description. Thanks

Hey, comrade. I also sought the same, but succeeded in gaining experience at Blight by attacking from outside the screen. Sometimes chaos damage will fly at you, so if you take measures against that, you can easily reach level 100.

I was thinking the same thing. Like the build is great for a lot of things but its too squishy against bosses that have long phases. i just get 1 shot like nothing against high tier exotic maps. like lair of the hydra didnt go so well for me @@ercannebiler8026

there is a bug in the notes of you PoB. Pierce Quest for ranger is the medicine chest. Also there is only up to A6 in the notes. when do you switch to Ice Spear/FP from Spark ?

What do you think about Returning projectiles support in narrow places, like delve (supporting Freezing pulse in Soul Mantle)?

Build is insane. 6L'd my soul mantle in 12 fuses on day 1. I've been cruising through to Heatshiver and Anathema. Bruh, this build absolutely fucks. Edit: just 5L'd my Annihilating light in 46 XD

Awesome build so fare, just entered act 6 but i was wondering where do i put the freezing pulse in, in your trade list is the this gem, but i cant find it in the skill section....is freezing pulse outdated and i just go with ice spear?

Hey i noticed you have pain attunement but i dont see petrified blood in the pob, is there something im missing?

Doing your build again but unless I'm mistaken there are a lot of item changes. No dying sun ruby flask, no coward's legacy, no sublime vision.

Any suggestions on survibability? Both me and my totems drop dead at basically anything.

Thanks for the guide. Thinking of trying this build out but can't get my head around a few things. The POB notes mention to buy/get leapslam but then at lvl 20 it says craft scepter (but mentions using essence and alts on wands). At no point in the POB notes is leap slam actually equipped. I did have a look at the POB from 11 months ago on the 3.20 vid and it seems that leap slam was part of the build then... Also at lvl 20 the recommended craft mentions topaz ring and magic scepter. Should I assume that leap slam is not recommended because the newer POB wants a craft against wands instead of scepters? Is there a reason for the switch from sceptors to wands at lvl 20 in the POB's (I played a little 5 years ago, and now only the last few weeks, so you can safely assume I know nothing about changes introduced in the last few leagues).

drop sceptors and leap^slam, look for lvl24 spirale wand (you can craft extra flat lightning damage = 4 transmut) spirale wand carry your leveling spark totem

Leveling threw campaign was fun but then i got stuck. I used your starter setup for mapping, resi cap and so on and i wasnt able lvl up anymore, cause i died so often. I had to recast my totems to often...

Nice guide dude, how would this play in ruthless?

What's the main defence in this build? I have got similar to you 2.4 hp and die almost every time for one hit :( Plus in life master you click 10% more life but it doesn't work. It won't increase max life when you checked pob.

Have you got any updates on endgame gearing?

Some reason, arcanist brand doesn't proc the power charges, perhaps I am missing something?
