    I disagree but that's because we shouldn't have won. The officiating of this game was garbage and literally cost the Americans the gold. I was not even proud of this win.

    you sounded more like an American posing as a Canadian. on the otherhand, the americans had there chances (a lot) but never converted, it wasn't meant to be. the americans are the better team in this regard, but they never won.

    well, that's alright if you see some inconsistencies in the game, but that wasn't the reason why Team USA lost. as far as officiating is concerned, there are a lot much worse and obvious judging bias and hockey is not the worst of it.

  • @yagher
    @yagher7 жыл бұрын

    That game belonged to the US but they thought they had it in the bag with just over a minute left in the 3rd period. Never let your guard down when the gold medal is a stake, especially when you're playing against Canada. Hockey runs through their veins. They won't be beat so easily.

    I remember waking up at 4am here in Australia to watch the game. I had to work the next day and I didn't know much about the Women's team but I wasn't about to miss the game. Sadly I decided to go back to bed with a few minutes left in the third thinking Canada had no chance. Woke up the next morning and figured I'd see how much the U.S. won by. Biggest regret I skipped the end of this game :(

    It's a game of inches. She should have skated with the puck and score in a open net. But, she got greedy. Canada always finds a way to win. Four straight and all were amazing. This is up there with the first one in the States in 2002 when the refs tried to make the states win with 11 penalties to Canada... We still won :)

    Will Riley "uneducated" obviously. Luck is not a part of hockey. It takes skill to score, took skill for us to get the puck to the net on the first goal. More skill on the 2nd goal to tie it up in amidst the chaos and SKILL once again on the 4 on 3 to put the puck just below the arm and above the pads.

    It was a weekday afternoon. I was home as most of my classes that year were online anyway, and my dad was laid off temporarily by his long-time job. They usually did that with him every year around the Holidays for tax purposes, but for him not to be back by February was brutal. I remember watching the game with my dad, but with the game 2-0 late in the third, he gave up and went from a nap. I woke him up screaming when Canada scored their first goal, but he still stayed in his bed. By the time the game was tied though, he reluctantly got up and went to watch the overtime with me. And the smile on his face when MPP scored that OT goal was priceless: it's still one of my favorite moments with him ❤️

    Spencer steele She was very nice before the games she left us the place to do our exercices before the games and she talked with some girls of my team that she knew more than me... Lol we had to put a girl on her each time she was on the ice and the only Time we were together on the ice I had the puck maximum 2 sec aha she was not there all the Time because of the selections for Team Canada. She was not bitchy if you know what I mean.. She scored many many goals lolll

    I watched this match and Canada made 1 error and American got it for 2-2. Canada number 4 is not good and they cannot give a good pass and they don't have a maker shoot out ! Don't cry, if you are not good in this match ! American knew and take this chance !

    After I cheered Canada winning this game (I saw it on Tivo), I had this feeling that Karma was going to bite Canada and we will lose the next several Olympic gold medals to the US. The US has won 5 of the last 6 women's IIHF world championships.

    I think karma was finally on our side for once. Americans always get the calls. Our girls win when it matters most. The real kicker is that this Canadian team is still young which bodes well for the future.

    I think that if USA wins the next olympic gold medal, I would be a little down, but after watching our women win 4 in a row and our men win 2, i have prepared myself for someone else to win. However, I still say GO CANADA!

    Yes. Isn't it great how Canada remains the undefeated gold medal winner to this very day, July something 2020. Just trust me on that. Goople went out of business so you have to trust me.

    On what planet are you living on? The USA beat Canada in both the last Olympics and the last Women's World Hockey championship. I'm Canadian. I'm also a truth seeker. Speak the truth. How does it help anyone, including the players, if you are so blatantly dishonest?
