Ice Fishing Michigan's Upper Peninsula (Backcountry Adventure)

Ойын-сауық

In this episode, join my friends and I as we set out for a day of backcountry snowmobiling, Ice Fishing and cooking in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Make sure to use extra caution while Ice fishing this season, especially with the mild winter we've been having. Stay tuned for more Ice fishing and camping videos coming up in the near future!
Thanks for watching! ~Kyle McClelland

That's crazy how it was so much thicker as you got out deeper. Thanks for explaining why the lake forms ice like that.

What I like about this channel, you keep your locations SECRET!!! Sure the spots are public but, go find spots YOURSELVES!!!!! I loathe "hole thieves" especially braggarts who you show them a sweet brookie pond or, grouse spot then the braggarts tell everyone and then your beaver pond is cleaned out.

Kyle, scale the area around the walleye wings, leave the skin on, when done cooking and it's cooled off bite down to the cartilage and slide the meat off with your teeth leaving the "wings" and the cartilage there.... Fantastic !!

@@AdventureChasing yessir! Love getting into the back country of Ontario fishing! Even though I live in the central U.P. a few miles from Rapid River Knifeworks, I long for rugged terrain and hard won fishing adventures.

Looks like a great adventure. I have tried walleye wings and I feel they taste the same as any other part of the walleye. All walleye is great. Not sure why people feel the wings are the best part?

I would rather eat the smaller fish particularly with trout... the larger the trout the fishier it gets...lakers I won't even touch...Walleye seems the same too, the larger they get the fishier tasting...
