Sorry. didnt mean to resort to name calling. It was a joke...My opinion, Ice Cube is obviously a very smart and talented person. Especially to still be relevant in today's age. the 'show biz' is so crazy...remember those first few albums he came out with? Very smart. Once G-funk was on the rise, people (especially rappers from out west) stopped making concious type records to a more laid back, gangsterfied persona. He "dumbed down his lyrics" is what Im saying. When stating an opinion of his, he has to balance both personas. There is Ice Cube the rapper that we all know, and O'shea Jackson who plays that character.

For a youngster at the time, Ice Cube was cool, calm, collected, and PROFESSIONAL when these media talking heads were trying to discredit him on the air. Makes me love this guy even more. I’m a thrash metal guitarist and headbanger and what you guys and us metal heads have in common is we gotta admit, the 80s n 90’s had TALENT in both Metal and Rap. Shit nowadays by these so called artists sucks. Thank MTV and Hollywood for that shit. God bless you all 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

I love how Ice Cube is so direct and honest. I noticed the interviewer kept cutting him off. I wonder if she treated him like this because he was new and not as famous but if she was to interview him now, she would not be so disrespectful. Like is she interviewing him or scolding him in public? So rude.

He keeps calm and answers her biased questions without showing his anger. That’s a real man there. You need to be that smart when people treat you disrespectfully.” I didn’t understand, it would be years before I could truly comprehend what they meant. I’ve never forgotten it. I’ll be 43 in a few days and this interview is still one of those life changing lessons I carry with me.
