Thank you!!!!! You saved me a few hundred calories, instead of going out for ice cream/frozen yogurt I went to the grocery store and bought frozen strawberries.

I just made this in my Vitamix 5200...have had it for a few weeks & have used the heck out of it. I used 2 frozen bananas, maybe 1 1/4 cups frozen strawberries & topped it of with some frozen fresh pineapple... no liquid. OMG, this was an awesome treat. I ate a small cup & it was sooooo filling. I am freezing the rest to see how it turns out since you didn't say how it would freeze. However, next time I plan to add maybe 1/8-1/4 cup full fat coconut milk to help get the fruit moving around the blades. Thanks for the video....and I do like Vitamixology!

dawilliams1950 Oh... I think a half or whole avocado (not frozen) might be good to go in first... and will really add to the creaminess...

Thank you for leaving the blending sound in, I wanted to make sure mine was making the right noise. 😊 I just made peanut butter and then left a couple tablespoons in and then added frozen bananas for a delish pub banana ice cream. 👍🏼👍🏼

OMG! I just made this and it came out soo tasty!! Only thing is, and im new to vitamix so maybe its just a matter of practice but I can not seem to get those 4 mounts to form! Second time now I have tried and it just doesnt happen. It was a bit mushy so I added about a half cup of ice on top and that did the trick! My question is how should I store the left overs (YES I had left overs since it was just myself)

I was just reading about food allergies, and how they can keep you from losing weight. Gene Simmons, from Kiss, his daughter, talks about her ordeal with a milk allergy. Anyway, great video, great ice cream, I love the flavor of banana and peanut butter, I love a cinnamon bagel, with that in the middle for breakfast. Maybe that can be a flavor idea. Thanks.

That looks so good! But why did he leave the stems of the strawberries on? I've cut them off lol! But it looks good!

Sorry there are many health benefits to the stems. They are a high natural source for Vitamin C and minerals. They help prevent anemia, and help with aches and pains that comes with arthritis. Lastly they can help balance the acids in your digestive tract and a good tonic doe your digestive system. A Colon Hydrotherapist told me and I read up on it and have never take off, although off putting at first when you just eat it but you really get accustomed to it. Smoothies you won't even notice :) thanks to the vitamix

I just made this but my fruit had been in the freezer a bit long so it had crystals. Mine didn't turn out as creamy as yours did but I don't think I used nearly enough banana's. I used maybe one.

sunshinesaint I would recommend at least 2 medium to large bananas. That which you dont eat, freeze :) Awesome you tried it! What did you use to blend?

SurJones I have a vitamix that I used. I'll try more banana's nxt time. This time it only had one small one. I didn't realize the banana is what makes it creamy
