I just said the same. I was in Dallas a few weeks ago, wish I had remembered this.

Good for both the business AND the workers! Business does e have to worry about the expense of high turnover rates, or having to cover them in a health plan, and then of coarse it's great P.R.. For the workers it gives them a sense of accomplishment, pride,purpose, and self worth along with a few extra bucks. What a great idea!

Some disabled people don’t like that term (could also be said for specials needs also- I know) special needs is more PC as to not offend those in certain sectors within the community. It’s more broad.

Actually it is person first and then the disability/diagnosis. Person with a disability that way the person is not labeled by their disability/diagnosis/illness. We are not labeled as what we have as we are still our own individual even if we may have a disability or illness.

Mental illnesses and mental conditions are two different things. Down syndrome, autism, bipolar are not the same as depression, PTSD, or chronic anxiety. Not even in the same ballpark. Try to be careful with assumptions, you don’t know if the service dog is there to help someone during a bad episode where they can hurt themselves or others
