So to end her (AMAZING) science presentation on Stephen Hawking, Carolina decided to perform the Ice Bucket Challenge in honour of Professor Hawking who, as well as being a revered scientist, is also unfortunately affected by ALS.
"ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord."
