That moment when you replay one of your favorite childhood games years later and finally realize how f*cking weird it was. Still one of the best movie-bases games ever, though.

I have no idea what those bouncing one-eyed things inside Maelstrom’s MONSTROUS stomach were!

I love this part of the game

Those eyes inside of that pliosaur...I bet that was inspired by a creepypasta, because those eyes scare me.

Oh , I see! But still, the Mud Bog mini game isn't hard because it's always the same order everytime, except that in the next round, a new number is added, plus you can always write all these combinations that appear in a paper.

5:10 I through that Scrat was throwing a stone/rock at Maelstrom the sea monster’s uvula in its mouth for 5 times!

@@mario9119 It does not matter of which one you speak, as Ice Age 2 came before Ice Age 3. Every piece you have heard in Ice Age 3 is either something new or something heard initially in IA2.

Scrat is incredibly small, so for his perspective, it is the illusion that the inside of Maelstrom seems bigger than the outside. When you are bigger than others, you see things as smaller compared to the ones shorter than you. And since Scrat is merely a bit bigger than Crash and Eddie, I think they made an accurate view of the inside (regarding the size of things).

Um, you're right, but from how I see it, you make it sound like you don't have enough time for that mini-game. If you see my walkthrough, you'll notice that most of the mini-games from Ice Age 2 can be done in short time, well except for the Mud-Bog mini-game where you must figure out the order in which the creatures where jumping, but that's not hard either

Well, yeah I thought of future uses, because the hardest is always the first time

:), if I check my English-Romanian dictionary, I see this: Maelstrom - vartej ( whirpool ); distrugere ( destruction ) But in Age 2 I think that Maelstroms have a different meaning :)...

Oddly enough, this section of the game were Scrat gets swallowed by the monster kinda reminds of “Jabu Jabu’s Belly” from the game “Ocarina of Time”. If you’ve played that level you’ll know what I’m referring to.

KotorHDTVChannel It’s cool. Was just pointing out how the concept and the level design looks similar to what was used in that game. It wouldn’t surprise me if the developers took inspiration.

Hey when it come to time limits don't the creator have to test the time limit before hand hand t see if it's actually possible to play te mini game in they time they give

But if u think about wouldn't writing it down duck up your time unless ur talking bout future uses I thought about doing it once

I guess but I love videos games but I'm not that good so games with time limits like this are a huge challenge it'll I don't have very good control during my movements in the game ESPECIALLY the mud bog game my memory isn't great when it comes to that type of stuff :/
