Luckily I don't often venture out in the Big Wide World, the Hobbit goes out to do the shopping and stuff so hopefully we are fairly safe (also the Mrs is a bit of a prepper so well stocked up). New diagnostic tool is super good, but it doesn't seem to fetch any more codes than the icarsoft. It does however allow you to go into the ecu and configure different items and alter suspension heights etc.

@@Bensgarage Good, nothing I need then! Configure suspension, are you mad... if it works, its configured! Had all that diagnostics with my last P38... cool, I can screw up my height settings! You would probably benefit from dropping the L322 a few inches as I think the lowest setting is too high, you can see that in the way the driver's seat has worn, after years of dragging a left buttock on and off? My P38 would drop to it's bump stops but not the L322?

It is slightly higher to get in than the TD6, but with the newer Range Rovers you can only adjust the heights of all three settings at once. So if I lower the access height by 20mm then the normal and off road height will come down by 20mm. On our older TD6 you can adjust all three settings separately.

@@Bensgarage It really comes down to the vehicles use? I only use the highest setting when I'm bored at traffic lights. My old P38s had a greater range of height between normal road and off road? That really was cool at the traffic lights for anyone looking in their rear view, my Daughter loved it... "push the button" now she isn't so impressed but does like rear heated seats and landrover logo with courtesy lights!

Dude you literally saved my two or more years of my lifespan. I was about to go haywire about my iCarsoft MBII... Thanks! I formatted the Card, but before i t wrote down the Serial-Number AND the Password (saved on the card)... VERY IMPORTANT! Because you need it when you download the software back onto the then formatted SD-Card

I have exactly the same problem and tried to contact icarsoft but no response. I saw you video and just did what you said to make it work and it worked. change the micro SD or reformat the old one if its still working, plug the scanner in the computer and run the upgrade. it worked , very simple solution to the problem. Thanks a lot, it saved me time and money of thinking of buying another scanner. I thought the scanner is already done for and i had used it only 3 times. thanks alot .

Thanks for this. I am having an issue clearing my setvice light and am working with Mr. Davies to try and fix. Their troubleshooting steps are vague and confusing. Glad you got yours worked out.

Great vid...I formatted my SD card, and lost all the scanner info.....now the scanner won't even recognize the SD card....it's completely locked out

It didn’t work on my Volvo Xcode 60 2017 model , it says my car is not supporting for that , I just tried to put EBM on service mode

My icarsoft used to regenerate my dpf on my citroen ds3 1.6 hdi . But now it won't. Took card out and formatted it and put update on but still says I can't fo it. Don't know what is happen.

The iCarsoft are brand specific, if you needed Mercedes Benz you should have bought the MB version. I don't think you can add extra manufacturers to it. The iCarsoft CR elite has all makes.

After I updated my scan tool it was super slow and unusable I took out the card ,put in reader and plugged into computer . The computer recognized it as drive D and said there was an error in it and asked if I wanted windows to repair it . I clicked on repair and waalaaa it works again .

Ben, I’ve bought the CR Pro, specifically for my Porsche Cayenne, I too am communicating with Barnett because I am not able to get any feedback from the ABS module, it clearly states on the box and advertising that the icarsoft will read the ABS module. Did you get any feedback of codes back from your vehicle from the ABS module? This has been going on for sometime and Barnett has instructed me to do the same actions as yourself. I’ve asked for my money back but he wants to persevere. I think I’m flogging a dead horse.

I never got any codes back from the ABS module, which I assume was because there were no faults logged.

@@Bensgarage thanks for the reply. The module will still respond, if there are no faults it will inform you of that. Barnett is slow to respond now, I get the feeling the CR Pro is not up to what they say it is. Cheers.

I'm in the same spot. Some control units won't connect properly to my car (Freelander 1, 2001). Waiting on a miracle from Mr Davies.

Mine worked fine out of the box. Only time I had a problem was when I tried to update it. All sorted now and it works great.

Hey I am having trouble with my cr Pro it's not responding to back button doubt it's hardware as only used 5x practically brand new and stored safely if you could help would be great if it's same issue would be great

My issue, was that it wouldn't connect with certain modules. Never had trouble with any of the buttons not working. Have you tried emailing icarsoft themselves?

I'm having the same problem, it gets stuck on the "communicating" screen.

Have you gotten a problem where it says, "Vehicle database does not have license file"? Can't find any information on what to do

Sorry, I have not had that problem before.

Good piece of kit for the price, but limited functionality, I went down the Hawkeye route unlocked to all land rovers up to 2014. The update you did more than likely would have had no bearing on your vehicle models, sometimes its better to leave well alone.

Not that I know of. It might connect via OBD but look out for Toyota specific iCarsoft.

I have watched a video showing how to do the Update i followed the steps and my one doesn’t give one - doesn’t give an option to login. - on the update app shows me only Vag group and V30VAWS_SYSTEM. I think my one was make for VAG group as is the VAWS V3.0. But i heard i can add more make and dont know how also i have no idea how to format a SD card. What should i do please help, i am not a mechanic i am using this for my own cars i want to add BMW and Mercedes.

I don’t think you can add other makes to it, I have the LR V2 which does all systems on jaguar and land rover. It does have the obd function that will read other makes, but it’s very basic. For all makes you really need an icarsoft cr elite or cr pro.

I've heard this a lot recently, when I was trying to email them (it was a long time ago) they always responded, perhaps something has changed at iCarsoft.

I would like to know how to do it.

i have a Cr pro brand new and it wont boot when i connect the usb. I tried every port on my pc and even changed the cable. any help?

The ONLY brands i have introduced are land rover,and jaguar.I need to introduce other brands like toyota, Hyundai Suzuki etc.

It's annoying...it did all the Installs and now it's asking me for tf card location

Yeah, bought one as well. Sent customer service USA a mail, with VIN number, because not working out of the box. Got a reply asking the VIN number, which I gave, and pictures. Pictures of what ? The car ? My dog ? Since then no news. Same customer service Germany; Sent mail, no answer. I will "try" to update this unit but I still think it should work out of the box and not to be sold with old firmware.

It should work out of the box, mine did. I just had problems when I tried updating it to newer firmware.

@@loubakker5000 the newer firmware had more access to more systems on the car, before I updated it I couldn’t access certain systems to read faults. Otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered doing it.

@@loubakker5000 it was working hassle free, but I had a fault on my Range Rover and it wouldn’t read the headlight module. I imagine if I bought it now it would come with the new firmware.

Best to get in contact with iCarsoft themselves, not sure you can add other makes onto the device. They do a model that has all makes on it, perhaps you would have been better off getting that one instead.

Note #2 -- Probably a good idea before you even attempt an update to get at least one or two small (2GB or 4GB) Micro Sd cards. ( Cheap as chips now) ..Take out your original one and put it away safe just in case something goes wrong with an update. I have discovered that you can put a blank Micro sd car in a usb reader , plug it into your pc ... and when you begin the update process just enter the Serial number etc written on the back of your scantool. It will happily do the download to the Sd card in the usb adaptor as if it was the scan tool .. When its done .....Just exit the program and do the safe eject on your USB adaptor. After that ....take the micro sd card put it in the slot of your scan tool ....and then use your USB lead to power up the tool .. It will start in update mode ...just press the "Back" (arrow) button ... and the tool will reboot with the newly downloaded information ( and ...you have your original sd card in case something goes wrong ) ... tried it and it works fine .. I now have a backup copy of the software should i need it ..... thought it might help someone avoid issues.

@@Bensgarage My lower tailgates being a b"%ch at the moment, the fooker won't lock and the forums keep banging on about faulty bcm! I bought an icarsoft after seeing your comments with your old RR. Have you tried it on any other make? I used it on my In-laws X-type and it was adequate but not as indepth as on my L322?

I have tried it on my dads bmw 1 series and as you say it’s not as in depth as the L322. He bought an icarsoft elite which does all models and brought up codes which mine didn’t.
