Hi guys, I have cleared by SPOM Law exams with 54 marks. I felt the question paper to be difficult. After hearing a lot of experiences from youtube my mindset was like we will clear exams any way. But its not. For me questions mainly came from 2nd module and those chapters which we were told that its less important. Guys kindly solve ICAI SPOM MCQ set as questions are also getting repeated. The exams are easy for those guys who have studied law as their main subject. Prepare well for the exams as its not that easy. All the best guys

Its a very fair review. Students who have already appeared for CA Final exams, where LAW and SCMPE were full fledged descriptive nightmares, the SOPM test feels relatively easier. i fall in this category and honestly found the tests easier. But for students from may 2024 and onwards, who are preparing law and scpm for the first time ,you have to respect it as much as you would the main 6 papers. Largely base the preparations around ICAI modules and support material , as there is a good probability you will find the same questions in the exam. if you are self studying or studying with revision lectures, make sure you do the ICAI bos or old MCQ book questions as you finish each unit, this helps you understand were and what kind of questions are exam relevant. otherwise we often end up trying to study a lot more or irrelevant content.

This is so much confusing. Some say it's manageable if u study for around 30-40 hrs. Some say its way tough.

Mam, For set C, there r a list of 72 videos for 10 subjects in ssp portal. As we r choosing one subject of our choice, how it can cover 20 hours? Each subject contains 2 or 3 videos of nearly 4 to 6 hours. Then how it ll be counted mam?

As per me, number of hours don't matter you just complete all vidoes under the subject chosen by you. The LMS status shall turn into completed. Because even Set A and Set B were not of 40 hrs , It vary subject to subject.

Hi, the reporting time as per admit card is 8 a.m. while last entry is allowed till 9:15 a.m. How early would be it be most appropriate to reach? Also, do they provide a sheet of paper for calculations and rough work? Would be grateful if you answer these questions. Thanks in advance

Reach by 8:20-8:30 , They take time to do proper frisking and checking of IDs and everything . If you centre is small you can be little late but make sure reach max by 8:30. They do provide sheet for rough work.

Very honest review, and even I feel that - 1. Only students who are passing are sharing their results on social media and saying the exam was very easy, but there are many who failed too because the exam was not THAT EASY! So friends please don't stay delulu that the paper will be bed easy and take SPOM lightly as it may defer our attempt. 2. A majority of students who are appearing for exams are Nov 23 attempt students who have already studied Law and SCMPE. So for them the exam is relatively easy. But as more n more May 24, Nov 24 students appear in Spom exam, we'll get to know what students really feel regarding the Exam level. As Riya said, We need to focus more on concepts and case studies and build our foundation rather than depending merely on module and questions. Great video Riya 👍

Thanks riya coming with honest feedback, today I appeared for law spom but failed. It is not that easy, pdna+yaad krna pdega guys, I was also feeling confidence ki ho jayega but nhi hua. Although I didn't devote such time to law. But I realized now that spom required time. Reqd to do practice,memorize instead only overview.

Still going office for 10 hours (including sunday) ,thoda sa bhi pahle jane ki baat agar kar diya toh sidhe dhamki milti hai ki , koi chutti nahi milegi and guess what aaj SPOM ka exam tha scored only 44 , aese me kya koi pass hoga..

Guys since it comes from the set of questions it can be easy for a few and difficult for others. But it's not that hard my suggestion to you is to watch spom revision lectures from shubham singhal sir . I got 56 . If i have to suggest you guys about a few topics where you will definitely find questions is 1) directors - committees , composition of the committee 2) remuneration of directors ( schedule v and max permissible remuneration) 3) NO of meetings 4) sebi LODR regulations committee 5) NCLT 6) IBC - know who is a financial creditor/operational creditor/ financial debtor Foreign contribution and FEMA Just watch revision videos from shubham singhal sir's channel. All this will take a maximum of 5 hours of effective study and was good enough for me .

Yeh toh aapko khudh check karna padega BOS Portal se waha par Modules hogi puri last printed date check karlo ya kisi bache ne nayi mangwayi hai unki and apni books ke starting ke pages par printing date ya revised date check karlo , par as per me agar last 6 months mai mangwayi hai toh same he hogi.

Only LODR is available, every other portion is newly added, thus no one has uploaded any video or notes. You will have to do it from module only. But it's imp.

Sbse pahle aap ko ye samjhna hoga ki aapko kisi ki bhi koi strategy follow nahi krni Aapko bs achhe se khud se ek baar book se padhna hoga...wahi aapki best strategy hogi...aur bahut saare vdos dekh kr aur bahut saare opinions lekr aap ise apne aap ke ly tough bana rhe ho....

are mere saat bhi yahi huwa... law mai sirf 38 mile, but I had studied 5 days. aur agle din hi costing tha, which i hardly studied for 4-5 hrs but us mai 70 aagaya. i am feeling many free resources on telegram are erroneous or not up-to-date. now I am thinking of referring only icai module now. it just cant be coincidence so many students failing in Law, kuch to gadbad hai. and after law exams, many students' marks are not appearing on screens, jab NSEIT walo ko bataya, they are not ready to accept or check CCTV footage, kuch to jhool hai.

@@devil678g8 set B mai new Chap 8 kar lo especially Z score, aur thoda standard costing ke CS+MCQ samaj lo. Pricing ke bhi MCQ+CS. Divisional TP. RoI WACC NoPAT Wale formula dekho. And all new theory chapter samaj lo. Ho jayega yaar tension mat lo. Set-B easy hai. Kyu ki zaada problems ate hai 40-60 marks ka.

My both groups are pending but giving only 1 group in November so do I have to give spom for both law and scmpe or only the one pertaining to my group please reply. Also we have to pass the spom exam form before filling the exam form or before the actual nov 24 exam? Please resolve these queries.

After revising 3 times I have cleared Set A by scoring 66 marks, Questions mainly from module 2 are asking higher rather than the Director chapter and Questions are mainly upon time limits and penalty 😑

@@komalchhatwani1128 I have earlier done detailed classes from SPC which was uploaded in KZread, and now I have done revision from Shivangi and Arpita Tulsyan. For FCRA, FEMA and SEBI I have referred revision video of CA CS Shubham shukla (Note these were not helpful if you don't focus on study material)

Riya is it recommended to sopve QB of descriptive question of any faculty..

Weightage as per ICAI SEBI 20 marks other laws 30 marks and Module 1 50 marks, so this clearly states it. But it can vary a little. But the last portion related to winding up and NCLT NCLAT is also very imp

For example you booked slot for 23rd and unable to attend , you can book slot after 24hrs of 23-06, i.e on 24th you can book again.

Can we give Set A exam after completion of 40 hours or we have to complete 80 hours for both set first?
