Ibrahim Traore bids farewell to Mali's Assimi Goita after end of his stay in Burkina Faso
At the the end of the Malian transitional President Colonel Assimi Goita's one-day friendly and working visit to Burkina Faso on June 25th 2024, the Burkinabe President Captain Ibrahim Traore personally escorted him to the Ouagadougou international airport to bid him farewell and see him off.

This visit makes me nostalgic. President Goita is indeed a brother to President Traore.He reached out to show support for Ibrahim Traore at a challenging time. The lions of the sahel are teaching us real leadership skills. May the Spirits of our ancestors keep crying to God Almighty for Mercy on Us Africans. This is the time for Africa to be truly free from the Bondage of France and its Allies. May God Almighty protect the Three Heroes of the AES and grant them much wisdom.
