Nice going, good shot of that correction dead key feature, that is a common problem nowadays, Selectrics are complicated and hard to film

Hi there, I have been looking for help with my portable electric typewriter (it's a Monica electric/ Monica electric S/ Monica electric de luxe) the space bar is not responding and since it's a potable device I have no way of getting underneath it since it has a cover that I can't remove, do you know of any way I can try to get it working again? It was a gift from my grandmother
