Old comment, I know, but you wouldn’t because that style doesn’t suit this bass type

Nobody said the style ever had to suit the bass lol. Play roundabout on my friends acoustic bass, it sounds great.
What's the first song??
Shame there is no verion online of this bass with flats. Cool vid

what about the output of this bass? is it low?
@facedowngaming

Hueco Uno kinda low but not significantly low as compared to a fretless bass.
any idea what strings are being used?
@facedowngaming

Arjun Baxter most likely D’Addario since majority of Ibanez Basses are stocked with them.
what about this beauty with fuzz?
@facedowngaming

Hueco Uno you’ll get some nasty feedback but a noise suppressor should help eliminate that.

I’d like to hear it through an oh so slightly overdriven tube amp, to give it just a little bit of grit. I think that would sound awesome! But with huge amounts of fuzz, I also think this thing will squeal more than anything, because of its hollowness. The feedback would be overwhelming.
It sounds super nice! Thick thuddy and muted sound, but I can’t seem to find any foam underneath the strings? Does this bass have a special muting device somewhere, since I also can’t see him palm muting the strings. Or does he use a fancy left hand muting technique?

tones in your hands and finger not extras

if you cut the mid range, you have this tone, on the countrary, turn it full range and you will have all the sounds of your fingers on the strings
i like the small size. ..but it doesnt sound unplugged does it ?

Nop. The body is too small and the top is thick.

its really more of a design piece, rather than a multipurpose plug-in/acoustic bass. Even if it did make decent sounds when unplugged, it'd be way too quiet and it would feedback like crazy, so its probably best kept as-is.
Is there differences between this and AGBv200a other than different bridge and icluded pickguard?
@SteezyFilms24

size. the AGB is slimmer in depth. you can tell the AFB has a thicker body width
The beard, tho!
If they would just make a consumer model in 6 string. Come on Ibanez, I'm basically begging you to take my money.

Absolutely beautiful sound but if I ever were to find that much nicks and scratches on a brand new instrument, I would completely freak out and send it back.
I was sort of hoping Ibanez would never succumb to the relic craze.
I saw this at GC and picked it up. Great tone, but not my tone.
More a bass~guitar Than a BASS...
Not my Bass
Not buying one that looks like it's been dragged behind a truck..
