This fucking album was so good. I'm really excited to see them again, it was solo when I saw her support Girlpool.

At a show some dumb kid yelled out rather dismissively, "Why do you have a Korn tattoo?!" and Jilian responded, "HAVE YOU HEARD KORN?"

Not here to s- on indie artists, but this is pretty terrible... Neither the music nor the performances are compelling. Very lite, insubstantial and airy, in a way that's not the least bit interesting. Using lots of space, with wide, roomy compositions can make for very compelling music. But such arrangements needs some kind of hook or punch to make the material engaging. And this has neither. Moreover, it feels like the band's been invited to perform because they "sound" like a KEXP band. I can imagine the the programmers saying: "hey, these guys 'sound' like an indie band, we should DEFINITELY have them on!" Meanwhile, they "sound" dull and boring. Much rather see more... -Wimps -Bully -Alice Wolf -Death Valley Girls -Cannibal Summer -Deap Valley New can be good. I've certainly discovered lots of great new artists via this channel. But "new" as the single compelling features is not enough to make an artist actually compelling...

Actually it's not even a band, she is the creator of that project. I was in one of her concerts in a basement in Seattle. It's a very good experience and she's a really nice person (signed my stuff and she hugged me) her voice and sound are kinda unusual love those acute screams. But well if you think that just because sounds indie haha you won't listen at that you'll loose a lot of good music. I don't like everything she has done, her fist and second album I loved that but her last mmm no actually
