Maybe let them die but that Elena becomes human and then Caroline drinks the cure from her because they're both still young. Let them keep their memories because too many friends, loves and family members died that should be honored with remembering them. Bonnie stays the ultimate power because she f*ckin' deserved and earned it...especially after saving the town, her so called "friends" and got sh*t all for it. Let Matt help repair the town back to how it was with peace, humans and order...so he'll have back the town he loved and cherished. Jeremy can still keep his Hunter powers, so he's out in the world continuing his family legacy of protecting people from the vile ones. Idc what happens to any of the originals...give Rebekah the cure...don't give her the cure...I could care less. If she took it from Caroline then she could start her human life sooner, seeing as Caroline wouldn't die right after.
