Ian was gunshy , so much slower than MVP and MVP has literally zero ground game and Ian didn't do too much damage on the ground..He has no chance of any of the top 3-5 in the rankings

Deep down he knows MVP was way faster than him. He was shocked by the speed, in the 2nd you could see his confidence ebbing away on the feet.

Smart game plan, and respect on getting the W how he needed… but why can’t he just say “yo that dude was super fast and slick, I had to resort to grappling. It’s mma.” On the feet, they didn’t seem on the same playing field honestly, and I think that’s going to really bother Ian. If he accepted that, publicly, it would push him to become an even better striker.
