Ian Dingman is a fellow Carthage Comet who left his mark as a truly great attackman.
Ian came out of our hometown of Carthage, NY and would become one of the best players in Navy lacrosse history. He used his size and skills to bully his way to net and make big plays for the Midshipmen.
Ian is an All-American, 3x Navy Offensive MVP, and finished his career 4th all time in points at Navy with 188.
Ian was North Country tough and left it all out on the field every time he played. He battled through adversity throughout his time at the Naval Academy, but persevered to graduate and fuel his team to 3 NCAA playoff appearances. We will never forget his amazing plays in Navy’s magical run to the 2004 National Championship. Thank you to Ian and to the members of his family also in the military for their service to this country.
