That Grand Caravan is not missing the transmission dipstick. They don't come with one. There is a special tool you buy that looks like a dipstick, that you use to check the fluid level.

Lol at 3:47 the random guy I love those old Colorados. My grandparents bought one the first year they came out in 2004 and it got totaled in a head on accident in 2019 with over 385k miles

That Colorado could be a good little project... Should have push button 4x4 on the dash, that is a 4wd model with the fender flares and z71 package only available in 4wd. If you could get it for 400 like you mentioned you could make a really cool truck...

The Echo is a great little car! I had a 2dr Yaris hatch for 10 years. (I'm 6'1) was fun with the 5spd.

I have 2012 Jeep Graand Cherokee. These vehicles don't come with dip stick for Transmission. We use the dip stick from oil to check Trans fluid.

I would be all over the Colorado as a parts truck for my gas sipping '05 Colorado Z71 4X4 (five cylinder) LS.

Lol yeah the van had me say wow out loud lol

Mine has the 3.6. I get 17 around town and on the my last 2 trips I got 30 mpg. One was on a 2 lane for 110 miles and the last was a trip to Lexington Kentucky. I was on I 75 most of the way to and from. It is rated for 27 or 28 mpg on the Hwy but I used the Cruise most of the time

My guess on that Grand Caravan is that the fella who previously owned it was one of those fellas who partied too hard and practically made a mess of the interior (not to mention made a mess of the tranny, too).

It is a 5 cylander and they are great. I had a 2004 but the driver side frame was rusted out on the outer drivers side.

It has the stow & go seats too.

I have an 07 Colorado with the 3.5 inline 5 it had a running rough problem like that then it blew up.

Transmission typical problem for a Dodge Caravan. Bought one brand new and went through two transmissions while it was under warranty.

Z71 doesn't necessarily indicate 4 wheel drive, but it will have the G80 rear locker.

About that Caravan.....worked 20 years in car rentals and believe me, we've had plenty of vans returned in that condition. Add nearby beaches and you can throw a few pounds of sand in there as well. Absolute nightmares to clean.

Dude, those dirty ones are really not that big of deal. Just take your air tools and buzz those seats, belts and carpet out of it. Use some long screws and screw the carpet to a fence, hose it, super clean it hit it with a brush, pressure wash it and the seats. let them dry all the way and they come out great. Faster and better than even attempting to vacuum and shampoo. The smell is gone . Well worth the hour it takes.

My sister had a Yaris she was sideswiped by a Dodge ram pickup truck dually that pulled out in front of her on the freeway. Her car literally did a barrel roll and then rolled again...she survived probably because it was relatively low speed. Anyways all I'm saying is while they may be good on gas they are dangerous to drive if you drive around very large vehicles.

Looks like that van needs cleaned out with a leaf blower. Do you get cheese with that whine? My boss had one brand new, had lots of transmission issues. The dipstick probably broke. 😁 I think the Yaris has some electrical issue, and that’s why the column was taken apart. Could be a simple fix if tracked down.

We have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan 240,000 MI for some reason it just won't die LOL

My dad has a 2014 tdi diesel wagon gets 45 miles to the gallon on the highway 47 on a fresh oil change with a 14.5 tank not sure what his gas bill was mine was a 152 bucks then again I have a 32 gallon tank I did a little research on the truck u have it has a 33 gallon tank if u didn't know I've been doing a little research on cars lately good video
