exactly, i get people like collecting sneakers and wearing them trying not to crease or ruin them, but personally they look way better when its beaten up and creased, it doesnt look like its your first time wearing it

I have two pairs so I have a replacement pair in case anything happens. They don’t get out much but I wear them on special occasions and they’re still stupid clean. I’m not a sneaker-head (more of a watch guy) but I do my best to take care of them. Definitely my favorite sneaker I’ve owned for its simplicity and longevity.

Nike hit the jackpot with these sneakers. The build and the color forces you to replace them pretty frequently. And they’re not cheap.

i got mine for 60$ because I bought them in a boy's kid size, and since the Nike logo color wasn't s popular color they were having a sale.

i bought my AF1's used at a garage sale for 2 dollars roughly 6-7 years ago. they're still holding up

Just got a new pair today my other ones creased i went true to size but now i went down a half its amazing apprecitate you 💯💯🙏🏽🤟🏾

I bought a pair in Aug 2023 and I wear them sometimes 2-4 times a week or sometimes 2-3 times in two weeks. It just depends on what's going on in my life and how often I dress up, when I'm not wearing them I stuff them with some kind of clothes to help them keep shape, I also just use basic laundry detergent (like gain or any oxy powder) to keep them clean, and it works well. I'd say I've put my shoes thru alot in the time I've had them and I've kept them in pretty good condition. I mean they still creased it's gonna happen and there's no way around it. But overall I agree this is an amazing sneaker especially if you have more than 2 pairs of shoes in your rotation. I wear slides 75% of the time so those get most of the beating and I consider these more as dress shoes, but I still play basketball in them just cause they feel great on the court.

Honestly my ones ive had for three years and theyve held up perfectly until recently. Ive used them for everything - school, work, exercise and i do a lot of walking in a day. The only reason im looking for a new pair is because ive worn away the heel tread so much the bubbles things are nearly exploding 😭😭😭

why half a size down

roc a fellas af1 from 2017 are my favorite white on white af1. i stopped buying regular white af1s once i got them because the leather quality is insane on them and its the og shape. creases on them are not nearly as bad like a regular pair of white on whites. when it comes to af1 quality nike has not topped that shoe till this day. i bought 4 pairs from that release and just "retired" my first pair and i got 3 more ds pairs to go.

i’ve had my pair for almost 2 years and they look NASTY. the crease is horrible, it’s not a pretty white, there’s air bubbles in the soles, and the tongue of the shoes are starting to rip apart. i gotta get a new pair soon😭

Depends how you take care of them if you clean them at least once a week as a routine and you use crease protectors and use a shoe tree to keep that shape then you should be fine after a year

I am too, when I bought mine, I was recommended to size down to an eight but the shop didn’t have any eights so I just got the size nine - actually was never an issue for me and I find the shoes so secure and comfortable even eight months later

I wore only AF1s for years literally 15 years or more till I grew older and became a sneaker head now I only wear Jordan’s, dunks, blazer, and a few other but will never put on AF1 again. For some reason I can’t stand AF1 anymore. I like some colors that release but I can’t buy them for myself. Idk I guess I played them out. Plus wearing something 20 other people will have on that same night is not something I enjoy doing lol. It’s one of the reasons I spend a shit ton of money on exclusive releases. No one will be wearing off white Jordan 1s cause they won’t drop that type of bread but I do it so that Im not wearing the same shoes as everyone else.
